We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt cries, lifting every burden you’ve laid at the feet of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Your prayer is heard, and we join with you in seeking God’s divine protection, restoration, and wisdom over your life, your marriage, your family, and your finances. Let us stand together in faith, trusting that the Lord is fighting your battles and turning every evil plan into good for His glory.

First, we must address the foundation of your prayer. You have rightly acknowledged Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). We are so grateful that you have placed your trust in Him, for it is through His blood that we are redeemed and through His resurrection that we have hope. If there is any doubt in your heart about your salvation, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the assurance we have in Christ, eternal life and a relationship with the Father that cannot be shaken.

Now, let us pray over the specific areas of your life that you have brought before the Lord.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. Lord, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your mighty hedge of protection to surround them. Just as You promised in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart," we ask that You hide them under the shadow of Your wings. Protect them from every evil plot, every scheme of the enemy, and every unseen danger. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we pray for the salvation of those in this household who are unsaved, those who are plotting evil, causing confusion, and seeking this family’s downfall. We know that Your desire is for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), so we ask that You break the chains of darkness over their lives. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Let them see the emptiness of their ways and turn from wickedness, idolatry, and manipulation. We declare that every evil plan they have devised will not prosper but will be turned around for the good of this family, as You promise in Genesis 50:20: "You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good."

Lord, we lift up this marriage to You, for You are the One who joins a man and a woman together as one flesh (Matthew 19:6). We ask that You strengthen this union, protect it from division, and let it flourish in Your love. Guard their hearts against unfaithfulness, bitterness, or strife, and fill them with Your peace. Let no man or evil scheme separate what You have joined together. We rebuke every spirit of discord, jealousy, or unforgiveness that may be at work in this home, and we declare that this marriage will be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness.

Father, we also bring before You the financial struggles this family is facing. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You are able to provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You open the right doors for them, doors of opportunity, favor, and provision. Give them wisdom in their decisions, discernment in their dealings, and favor with those who can help them. Let their finances be restored, and let every loss be redeemed. We declare that the devourer will be rebuked for their sake (Malachi 3:11), and that they will see Your hand of blessing in their lives.

Lord, we pray for this mother, this wife, and this daughter, give her discernment and wisdom in every decision she makes, especially concerning her children and her future. Let her walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). Protect her mind from anxiety, her heart from fear, and her spirit from discouragement. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her trust in You with all her heart, leaning not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).

Father, we also pray for the extended family members who are living in unholiness and causing trouble. We ask that You bring conviction to their hearts and lead them to repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness. If they refuse to repent, we ask that You remove their influence from this family’s life, as You instruct us in 1 Corinthians 15:33: "Do not be deceived. ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’" Surround this family with godly influences, people who will support them, encourage them, and walk with them in faith.

Lord, we thank You for Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that every attack of the enemy, every loss, and every trial will be turned around for their good and Your glory. Restore what the enemy has stolen, killed, and destroyed (Joel 2:25), and let this family walk in the fullness of Your blessings.

Finally, we rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement that may be trying to take root in this family’s life. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against them will prosper. We stand on Your Word, Lord, and we trust in Your unfailing love.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Now, dear sister in Christ, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. The enemy may be relentless, but our God is greater. Continue to seek Him in prayer, immerse yourself in His Word, and surround yourself with believers who will uplift and encourage you. Remember, the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). He is fighting for you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

If there are areas in your life or marriage where you may have compromised, whether through unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly influences, we encourage you to examine your heart and repent. The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in obedience to His Word, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:6).

You are not alone in this fight. The body of Christ stands with you, and our God is with you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good. The victory is already won.

We hear how heavy this feels right now, the constant awareness of people working against you, the weight of trying to shield your marriage and your family from harm, the drain of watching finances slip while you wait for God to open a new door. That kind of pressure can make you feel like you’re always on guard, always bracing for the next blow.

One thing we’ve learned is that when the battles are fierce around us, the real fight is often for our own heart. Proverbs 4:23 says “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” It’s not just a warning, it’s an invitation to stay soft toward God even when people around you are acting with malice. The enemy would love nothing more than for all this conflict to steal your peace, make you bitter, and close you off. But your heart, kept safe in Christ, is untouchable. You’ve already done the right thing by laying all of it at His feet. Now, practice letting it stay there. When the worry spikes or a new incident makes you feel targeted, intentionally hand it back to Him again. That’s not passivity, it’s active trust, and it’s how you keep your wellspring clear.

One practical step: you’re carrying a lot of this burden alone in prayer. Consider asking a trusted, mature Christian friend, someone who will pray with you regularly, not just talk about the problem, to be a prayer partner specifically for these issues. Having another person agree with you in prayer can relieve some of the loneliness of the fight and help you stay grounded when doubts creep in. If finances are a pressing need, it may also help to sit down with your husband and a wise financial counselor who can help you look at your situation clearly and make a steady plan, so that part of the burden feels more manageable.

We’re praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to place a strong hedge of protection around this sister, her husband, and their daughter. Keep them safe under the shadow of Your wings, and let no weapon formed against them succeed. Expose any hidden schemes and bring them to nothing. We pray for the salvation of those who oppose her, open their eyes to Your truth, turn their hearts from wickedness, and lead them to repentance and life in You. Restore what the enemy has tried to steal in their finances and bring godly opportunities for provision. Fill her and her husband with Your wisdom and a deep sense of peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their marriage, and let it flourish in Your care. In Your mighty name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your plea has reached the throne of grace, and it is well that you have cast your burden upon the Lord. The warfare you describe, against your marriage, your finances, your very peace, is not a novelty among the saints. The enemy ever rages, but greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Yet I would press upon you this first and greatest matter: the salvation of those who trouble you. It is a right prayer to ask God to hedge you about and to restore what the locust has eaten, but do you also yearn for their souls? For what shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? The only true protection from an enemy is to see him become a brother in Christ.

You speak of a household divided, of a sister-in-law and mother-in-law who walk in unbelief and stir up strife. This is a household sin and sorrow as old as Jacob’s tent. But consider the jailer of Philippi: he heard the Word, and not only he but all his house believed and were baptized. There you have the pattern. You cannot expect household salvation without a household hearing of the Word. I charge you, then, give them the Gospel. Speak plainly of sin and of the Savior who died and rose again. Lay hold upon the promise, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” It is a word for you as much as for any. Set Christ before them, not by nagging or by bitter argument, but by a life that adorns the Gospel and a tongue that speaks the truth in love. And pray without ceasing, for God alone can open blind eyes.

As to your marriage, the Lord who joins hearts can keep them joined. Let no fear eat at your trust. Our God is a God of perfect restoration; He says, “They shall be as though I had not cast them off.” He can bring back the years that the cankerworm has eaten and make the desert rejoice. But your confidence must be stayed on Him, not on your own strivings. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added. The ruin of your finances shall be repaired, but in God’s time and way. The right door of provision shall open when your heart is fixed on the true riches, Christ Himself, who is our salvation. No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.

And what of your own soul? You ask for deliverance from the evil plots of men; I bid you look first to your own salvation. Work it out with fear and trembling, for it is God that worketh in you. Let there be no secret sin allowed, no unholy anger nurtured, lest you give the adversary an advantage. The salvation of God is a full salvation, from the guilt of sin, from its power, and one day from its very presence. Rest in that finished work. The way is simple: Look unto Christ and be saved. That one look brings instant peace. Why then let your heart be troubled? You have looked; now keep looking.

For your protection, know this: the angel of the Lord encamps round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them. Hide yourself under the shadow of His wings, and the arrow that flieth by day shall not strike you. God can turn the counsel of Ahithophel to folly, and make the pit digged for you to swallow its own maker. I have seen it often. Do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord. Instead, bless them that curse you, and pray for them that despitefully use you. This is the hard word, but it is the way of the cross.

I am moved to pray with you, even now, that your household may yet be a household rejoicing. That the sister-in-law who now schemes may yet wash the saints’ feet with tears. That the mother-in-law who now clings to her idols may cast them to the moles and to the bats, and fear the Lord. Until that day, let patience have her perfect work, and let your own spirit be so full of Christ’s meekness that the enemy finds nothing in you to kindle strife. The wisdom you seek for decisions shall be given liberally to those who ask in faith.

Remember, the Lord’s word to Zerubbabel stands for you: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of Hosts. The battle is not yours, but God’s. Stand still, and see His salvation. He shall make your righteousness to go forth as the light, and your judgment as the noonday. Lay hold of that free salvation afresh for yourself, and then plead it for your house. Go to the throne with the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things than that of Abel. And watch; for He that keepeth Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. The Lord bless thee and keep thee; the Lord make His face to shine upon thee and give thee peace.

You are deeply distressed by enemies within your own household, those who ought to show goodwill but instead plot in secret, wounding you like foes in the mask of friends. This is a bitter and grievous trial. Yet remember that all enemies of God, all unbelievers and workers of evil, are already destined to be put under the feet of Christ. He sits at the right hand of the Father awaiting that day. Your safety, then, does not lie in returning evil for evil or in praying harm upon their heads. That would add sin to your trouble and put your own soul at risk.

You rightly ask for their salvation, and that is a good and holy prayer. God our Savior desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Prayer for your enemies draws them toward love, it inclines your own heart to mercy, and it has power to attract them to the faith. Many have fallen away from God through contentiousness with one another, so consider how great a work it is to win a household member by patient love. Do not let your plea become a curse cloaked in piety. Christ commands us to love those who persecute us. Look at the blessed Paul: he was willing to be cut off from Christ for the sake of his enemies, the very ones who stoned and scourged him. What excuse will we have if we cannot show even a portion of that love to our own kin?

These family members are indeed walking in unbelief and confusion, causing a stressful environment. Yet you too were once alienated from God, an enemy in your mind and in your wicked works. Christ reconciled you when you could not return, both loosing the devil’s hold and persuading your will. Shall you not then long for their repentance? Pray fervently that the Lord bring them to the fear of God, that He expose their evil not for their destruction but for their conviction unto salvation. Let your desire be that they leave behind their idolatry and walk in the light. If they persist in wickedness, their plans will never ultimately prosper against those who are hidden under the shadow of God’s wings, for the Lord fights for you. But how much better if they themselves become fellow heirs of grace!

As for your marriage, your finances, and your need for wisdom, lay all these burdens at Christ’s feet. He is able to restore what the locust has eaten and to shield you from unseen danger. But do not set your heart on earthly goods, for often inheritances pass even to enemies while we still live. Seek first the kingdom, and trust that He who clothes the lilies will open the right doors for your family’s provision. Pray for discernment together with your husband, making decisions in the fear of God. Above all, keep watch over your own spirit. Resentment makes a man a laughingstock, easily overcome by his foes and unclean before the Lord. Instead, let your gentle endurance and prayer for the salvation of your enemies become a sweet offering, that they may see your good works and glorify God on the day of visitation.
