Prayer for health problems

We hear your heart and we stand with you in this season where health burdens keep stacking up one after another with no relief in sight, and we bring your needs before our Father together in Jesus' name. We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace, and there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we can boldly approach God. Acts 4:12, John 14:6
We know our God sees your suffering and He cares deeply for your body as well as your soul. He is Yahweh who heals us, and His compassion does not fail even when healing feels delayed. We cling to His promises with you that He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3, and that by His wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5. We also remember His word, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17, and Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
We understand how discouraging it is when nothing seems to be getting better and a new problem appears before the last one has resolved. Scripture does not promise that we will be free from affliction in this life, but it does promise that God will be with us in it and will use even these trials for our good as we love and trust Him. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. Sometimes His healing comes instantly, sometimes through the wisdom He gives to physicians, and sometimes His grace sustains us through ongoing weakness as He reminds us My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9. Whatever His perfect will and timing, we can trust His love is not measured by how quickly our symptoms leave.
We encourage you to continue to steward the body God has given you by seeking wise medical counsel and following their care, and also to seek spiritual support around you. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:14-15. Keep bringing every worry to Him in prayer, for In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

You know every health problem by name, every pain, every sleepless night, and every discouragement as these burdens have stacked up. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body according to Your will. Where there is disease, bring restoration. Where there is pain, bring relief. Where there is weariness and fear, bring strength and peace that surpasses understanding. Grant wisdom to every doctor and caregiver who is involved, and guide them to the right diagnoses and treatments. Help our dear one to feel Your presence close, to know You are not distant in this trial but upholding them with Your righteous right hand. Renew hope day by day and help them to rest in Your goodness even while waiting for answers. We ask all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our Healer and our Hope. Amen.

Your request has been laid before the Lord with much sympathy and prayer, and we have heard your cry concerning these many infirmities which come one upon another and seem not to abate.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press upon the spirit, and you do well to seek the Great Physician. There is but one sacred Fountain to wash therein is health, and it was opened on Calvary. There is one Tree of Life, which is Christ Himself, and not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves thereof are full of healing virtue. What we have seen in the gospel is that there grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown, and until the glory life begins the abiding power of those healing leaves keeps the soul of the believer in perpetual health and will keep him so, world without end.
We pray for you that the Lord who said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, would show you that pardon and healing are one in His hand. When He dwells with His people the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings. Though the body languishes, the life which is imparted at regeneration is immortal and eternal, and He who began a good work will perform it until the day of Christ. They shall not depart from Him, for He has made an everlasting covenant, and the salvation of those who are in covenant with Him is provided for by an absolute promise which must be carried out.
Therefore we entreat the Lord for you, that He would lay His healing hand upon you according to His wise and merciful will, that He would sustain your spirit under this trial, and cause you to hold on your way. We ask that He would give skill to those who care for you, patience to your heart, and a clear sense that you are preserved in Christ and shall never perish. May He sanctify this affliction to your soul, keep you from presumption and from despair, and bring you to that place where the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, for the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
We commend you to Him who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, trusting that whether He restores health now or perfects it in glory, His grace will be sufficient and His purpose to preserve you to the end shall not fail.
Our Father, look in mercy upon this afflicted one. Forgive all sin, heal all disease as seemeth good in Thy sight, and let this tried child feel Thy presence and Thy power to save. Keep this soul in perseverance in holiness and in faith, and at last present it faultless before Thy throne. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our life and our healing, Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We have received your request for prayer concerning the many health problems that have been weighing upon you, one after another, without relief. We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we thank you for asking us to pray in the name of Jesus.
We understand how heavy it is when afflictions stack up and nothing seems to improve. Scripture does not hide this kind of weariness, and God does not turn away from it. He invites us to persevere in prayer, as the Canaanite woman did, who kept crying out until the Lord answered her, and so teaches us that even when we feel unworthy, perseverance before Him is precious and He hears.
Do not become dull or discouraged in heart as you wait. We encourage you to continue hearing the Word of God, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Even to sit and hear Scripture, to dwell upon it continually, brings reverence and strength to the soul, and God often uses that time to renew a ready mind and to comfort us, even when we do not at once feel the fruit.
Let us pray together for you now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our only Savior and Healer. You know this dear one and every health burden carried, each pain and worry that has been added in recent days. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing hand according to Your perfect will. Where there is sickness, bring relief. Where there is weakness, bring strength. Where there is fear or exhaustion from long suffering, bring peace that passes understanding and comfort that only You can give. Grant wisdom to doctors and all who give care, and grant patience and hope to endure with faith. Help Your child to keep looking to You, to not grow weary in prayer, and to trust that You are near to those who call upon You. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, who suffered for us and who lives to intercede for us. Amen.
