We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for provision and protection. Father God, we know that You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and that You see every struggle and hear every cry. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Lord, we stand on this promise and ask that You intervene in this situation. Open doors that no man can shut, provide resources in ways only You can, and soften the hearts of those involved in this eviction threat.
We also recognize the weight of stress and fear that comes with uncertainty. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, we ask that You replace anxiety with Your perfect peace. Strengthen this dear one with the assurance that You are in control and that Your plans are for good, not for harm, to give a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and lack that seeks to overwhelm and discourage. We declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak provision, favor, and breakthrough over this situation in Jesus' mighty name. If there are any unconfessed sins or areas where trust in You has wavered, we pray for repentance and renewed faith. Help this one to seek You first in all things, knowing that when we do, all these things, including shelter and daily bread, will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33).
Heavenly Father, we also pray for wisdom in this time. James 1:5 says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Guide this one in making decisions that align with Your will, whether it be finding a new place, negotiating with landlords, or trusting You for a miraculous turnaround. Let Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every outcome.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or our prayers heard (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Thank You, Lord, for Your love, Your mercy, and Your unfailing provision. Amen.
