We come before the Lord with a heart of intercession for your parents’ housing situation, lifting them up in prayer. Heavenly Father, we know that You are the Provider of all good things, and we trust in Your perfect timing. Your Word assures us in Psalm 37:5, *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* We ask that You open the door for their new housing and move them off the waitlist according to Your will. If this is the dwelling You have prepared for them, let the call come swiftly and without delay.
Father, we also pray for peace and patience for your parents as they wait. The uncertainty of a lease ending can bring anxiety, but You have not given us a spirit of fear. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* May they rest in the assurance that You hold their future and will not abandon them.
We rebuke any spirit of delay or hindrance that may be at work in this situation. Let every obstacle be removed in Jesus’ name, and may Your favor go before them. If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their lives, we pray that You would reveal it to them so they may repent and walk in full alignment with Your will. Your Word declares in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
Lord, we also ask that You bless their new home—wherever it may be—with Your presence. May it be a place of refuge, joy, and fellowship, where Your name is honored. If there is any way in which they are not seeking You first in this matter, we pray that You would draw their hearts back to You. Remind them that their ultimate security is not in a house, but in You alone. As Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
We stand in faith, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect plan. Strengthen their trust in You, and let this situation be a testimony of Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
