We lift up this precious soul who is missing, asking for Your divine protection and guidance to surround him. Father, we pray that You would place Your hedge of protection around him, shielding him from harm, danger, and any evil that may seek to overtake him. Lord, we ask that You would lead him safely back to his care home, where he is loved and cherished. Let Your angels encamp around him, guiding his steps and comforting his heart in this time of uncertainty.
We also pray for his family, who are carrying the heavy burden of worry and fear. Father, we ask that You would wrap them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Comfort them with the assurance of Your presence, and let them feel Your love surrounding them in this difficult time. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they find rest in knowing that You are in control and that You hold their loved one in the palm of Your hand.
Lord, we rebuke any fear, anxiety, or despair that may be attempting to take root in their hearts. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that You would fill them with hope and trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We also ask that You would guide those who are searching for him. Give them wisdom, discernment, and clarity as they seek to bring him home. Let Your light shine in the darkness, revealing his whereabouts and leading him back to safety. We trust in Your promise that if we seek You, we will find You, and if we ask, it will be given to us (Matthew 7:7-8).
Father, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You and that there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your intervention in this situation. We believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20).
We pray for warmth, shelter, and safety for this young person. Provide for his every need, both physical and emotional. Surround him with Your love and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. We ask that You would soften his heart and draw him closer to You, that he may come to know You as his Lord and Savior if he does not already.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
