We lift this heavy situation before the Lord with deep concern and urgency. Our hearts ache for this missing man and his family, and we join together in prayer, seeking God’s protection, wisdom, and intervention. Father, we ask You to surround him with Your angels, to guide him to safety, and to bring him home swiftly. We pray for clarity for those searching, law enforcement, family, and friends, so that they may be led by Your Spirit to find him. Lord, we also ask for justice in this situation, for the truth to be revealed, and for any harm or wrongdoing to be exposed and dealt with according to Your will.
We are grieved by the details shared about this man’s past relationship and the environment his children were exposed to. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 22:24-25, "Don’t make friends with a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harasses, lest you learn his ways and ensnare your soul." The fear his children experienced, the physical fighting, and the financial exploitation are all signs of ungodly influences at work. We rebuke the spirit of strife, manipulation, and violence in Jesus’ name, and we pray for the children to be shielded from further harm. Father, bring healing to their hearts and minds, and let them know Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up this man’s soul before You. If he has not yet placed his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw him to repentance and faith. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Lord, if he does not know You, reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. If he does know You, strengthen his faith and remind him that You are his refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
For the family searching for him, we pray for endurance, hope, and unity. May they lean on one another and on You, Lord, for strength. We declare Psalm 34:17-18 over them: "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
We also pray for the ex-partner and her boyfriend. While we do not excuse their actions, we ask that You would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. If they are unrepentant, we trust that You will deal with them justly. Proverbs 16:7 says, "When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." May Your hand move in this situation to bring about Your purposes, even in the midst of brokenness.
Finally, we pray for wisdom for this man moving forward. If he is to be reunited with his children, we ask that You would restore their relationship in a way that honors You. Help him to seek godly counsel, to break free from any unhealthy patterns, and to build a home that reflects Your love and truth. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will turn this situation for his good (Romans 8:28).

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
