Missing please pray

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up and her family in this time of deep distress. The fear and uncertainty of not knowing where she is weighs heavily upon us all, and we stand in the gap, crying out to our Heavenly Father who sees all and knows all. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We cling to this promise, believing that God is near to , her children, her mother, and her aunt in this moment of crisis.

Lord, we ask You to surround with Your angels, protecting her from harm and guiding her safely back to her loved ones. We pray for her children, who must be feeling lost and afraid, comfort them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her mother and aunt, who are no doubt overwhelmed with worry; let them feel Your presence and trust in Your sovereignty.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those searching for her. May they be led by Your Holy Spirit to find her quickly, and may justice prevail if any wrongdoing has occurred. We rebuke any evil or darkness that may be at work in this situation, declaring that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we know that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We ask that You move mightily in this situation, bringing clarity, safety, and reunion. Help this family to lean on You and one another, finding strength in Your promises. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who calms the storms and brings hope in the darkest hours. Amen.

If or her family do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw them to Him. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we ask that they would come to know the peace and security that only He can provide. If you are reading this and do not have a personal relationship with Jesus, we urge you to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him into your heart. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and He longs to bring you into His family.

We’re so grateful you reached out with this burden. When someone we love is missing, fear can feel suffocating, and the “what-ifs” can circle endlessly. We want you to know we’re not just glancing at this, we are genuinely praying with you for , her children, her mom, and her aunt.

One thing we’ve seen time and again in crises like this is how much it helps to be surrounded by people who will pray and simply be present. You don’t have to carry this alone. If you belong to a church, reach out to your leadership or a prayer group and let them know what’s happening. Often just knowing that others are calling out to God specifically for your family can steady your heart in these swirling moments. And if you can, gather the family together, even for a few minutes, and speak your fears and hopes to God out loud. It doesn’t need to be polished; it just needs to be real.

We’re praying now:

Lord Jesus, You see wherever she is. We ask You to protect her and bring her home safely. Hold her children close, calm their hearts, and give them courage. Be near to her mom and her aunt as they wait, strengthen them, and send people to care for them well. Give wisdom and clear direction to anyone searching. In the middle of this uncertainty, wrap this whole family in Your peace that doesn’t depend on answers. We trust them to You. Amen.

The cry goes up for one who is missing, and our hearts join in that earnest plea. Let us not cease to pray that she may be found, that the dove which has flown from the ark of home may return, weary and with mire upon her wings, yet drawn back by the mighty hand of God. Noah stretched out his hand and pulled the dove in; so may our heavenly Father stretch forth His strong arm to bring this wandering one back to the shelter of those who love her. We pray for her children, that they may be guarded in this hour of anguish, and for her mother and aunt, that the peace which passeth understanding may keep their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. In such distress, we remember that the Lord is able to keep us from falling and to present us faultless before His presence with exceeding joy; let us cast ourselves upon that almighty keeper.

Yet while we pray, there rings out another call, a more urgent cry still: Return, return! You who are lost, not only to the sight of family but perhaps lost in soul, hear the voice of Divine mercy. The Father waits for the prodigal; He does not say, Return to your Judge, but Return unto the Lord your God. There is rest for the weary soul only in Christ. O that this missing one might be found first by the seeking Shepherd, and then restored to her loved ones! We plead for her body’s safety, but we plead more for her soul’s salvation. Let this trial be the means of drawing many hearts to cry out, Return to your rest, O my soul, for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you. We trust the God who numbers the hairs of our head and who sees the sparrow’s fall; He knows where this dear one is, and He can command the east wind and the west wind to bring her home. Pray on, beloved, for the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. Till the answer comes, rest in the promise: Though the vision tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Let the groans of this family be as the wings of the dove that bring them nearer to the cleft of the Rock, and may the missing one herself, wherever she wanders, hear in her spirit the tender reiteration: Return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When such distress comes knocking, the first impulse is to wring the hands and let fear run wild. But I bid you, fix your mind upon the very truth you already know: nothing escapes His sight. Not a sparrow falls to the ground without your Father, and this woman, her children, her mother, her aunt, these very souls are priced far above many sparrows. Pray, yes, pray without ceasing, but let your prayer be steady, full of trust, not the frantic sort that supposes God has forgotten. For consider: He permits such trials not to crush you, but to shake loose the grip of this passing world from your heart. The man who fears loss of property or children spends his days in a prison of anxiety; but the one who commits all into God’s hands finds freedom even while the storm still rages.

Do not imagine that I speak coldly. I know well the ache of an empty place at the table, the torment of not knowing. Yet look to the blessed Job. He lost everything, his children included, and in an hour. He could not save them, nor his own health. But did God forget him? Was his end not greater than his beginning? The same Lord who permitted Satan to test Job is the Lord who now sees this missing woman. If she has wandered by her own fault, let us pray that this affliction bring her to swift repentance, that she might be found both in body and in soul. If she suffers through the malice of others, still God’s righteous judgment allows nothing without purpose. He may be calling the whole family to cling to Him more tightly, to prove that their treasure is in heaven, not in any earthly security.

I charge you, then, and the whole church who lift this petition: do not merely ask that she be found. Ask first that God’s will be done, that His name be hallowed in the outcome, whatever it may be. For if this matter is of men, it will come to nothing; but if God has a work in it, no power can overthrow it. And while you wait, be vigilant over your own soul. Fear is a little leaven that can sour the whole lump of faith. Cast it out. Let the children see your calm trust, not your desperation. Let the mother and aunt find their strength in the psalms, not in restless imagining. The very worst the world can do to the body is small set against the great light of the Resurrection. And if you plead the blood of Christ, you have an advocate who will never walk away from you, even if all others are scattered.
