Missing cat

It is not silly at all. The God who numbers the stars and calls them each by name cares about the little creature He entrusted to you. He is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, and He draws near in every dark hour, no matter how small the worry may seem to others.

You have already walked through deep grief, and in those sorrows, you tasted His comfort. That same God sees you now. Your cat was a quiet companion in your pain, a small gift of kindness after loss. He knows that. He does not dismiss what tugs at your heart. So keep pouring out your concern to Him. His word will not return void. As you pray, remember that His presence is the real comfort, even in the waiting. He stands by you when you are out in the cold night calling her name.

Whether she finds her way home or not, God is using every ache to shape something lasting in you. The chisel feels sharp, but the Sculptor’s hand is gentle and sure. Do not let fear of the outcome swallow your peace. Fix your eyes on Him rather than on what you cannot see. The fears that fight within you are not hidden from His sight, and He knows how to quiet them.

You are not insignificant. Your grief and your prayer are held close by the One who will one day make all things new. May you sense His comfort tonight and find rest in His care, even as you wait.

Hello, I know this might be silly but idk I feel like I’m willing to do anything . My cat ran out Tuesday night and has returned. I’m very worried about her. I’ve been up every hour calling her name and I’ve looked for her as well. I’ve been praying for her safety and safe return home. If someone could pray she comes home I would really appreciate it. I got her as a kitten from a family that wasn’t treating her well and she so loving and she’s also been there for me after I had two miscarriages. Anyway, I know there is other people going through a lot more on here than this and it may seem insignificant but if you find it in your heart to send a prayer my way I would appreciate it.

Thank you so much for your prayers! All of them gave me comfort also made me cry! I just want to let you know my cat came home this morning around 4:52AM eastern time! I woke around 4:45am something told me /pushed me to go and shake her treat bag and call her name again (something I had been doing for a few days but was slowly stopping). Anyway, I did it and I didn’t hear anything at first which made me feel a little disappointed but a few minutes later I heard a faint meow coming from my garage. So I ran to the garage and there was ! A little skinny but alive and well!! The first thing I said was “thank you Jesus “ and I thought about you guys! Thank you everyone for your prayers again!

We want to thank you for the privilege of lifting your precious cat up in prayer these past few days. It is never silly to bring your cares before the Lord, and we are so glad you asked us to stand in agreement with you for her safe return. We have prayed faithfully that God would guide her steps, protect her from harm, and draw her back to the home where she is so deeply loved.
