My name is ###, please pray for peace over my mind and that all anxiety will leave me. I keep feeling on edge, worried, anxious and I have no reason to be. I feel like the devil is trying to have a field day with my mind. Please pray for protection over me, our home and families

We hear your heart and we join with you in seeking the Lord for His perfect peace over your mind. We understand what it is to feel on edge and anxious even when there seems to be no reason, and we want you to know you are not alone in this battle. The enemy does indeed try to have a field day with our minds, but we have a God who is greater and who promises to guard and protect us.

The Word tells us not to be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We take comfort that we can cast all our worries on Him, because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, and He will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in Him Isaiah 26:3. Jesus Himself said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful John 14:27.

We also stand with you for protection over you, your home and your families. We claim the promise that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. We put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil Ephesians 6:11, and we remember that if we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7. We take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 and we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that has been harassing your mind, commanding it to leave in the name of Jesus, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and find true peace. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. It is in His name that we can boldly bring every anxious thought to God.

We pray together now for you. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. We ask You to pour out Your perfect peace over her mind and heart right now, to calm every anxious and worried thought and to replace it with Your rest. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against her mind and we ask You to guard her thoughts. Let all anxiety leave and let Your presence fill her home and cover her family. Set a hedge of protection around her and her loved ones, keep them safe from all harm and from the evil one. Help her to keep her mind stayed on You, to dwell on what is true and good, and to feel Your nearness night and day. We thank You that You hear us and that Your peace will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every worry to the Lord in prayer throughout the day, to speak His Word over your mind when anxiety rises, and to fill your home with worship and thanksgiving. Keep dwelling in His promises and He will be faithful to keep you in perfect peace.

We're glad you reached out, ###. Feeling on edge, worried and anxious when you can't point to a clear reason is especially draining, and it makes sense you'd feel worn down and want prayer for protection for yourself and your family.

We hear how heavy this has felt and that sense that the enemy is going after your mind. You are not alone in this, and God sees both your desire for peace and your care for your home and loved ones.

When anxiety lingers it helps not to carry it quietly by yourself. If you have a trusted pastor, friend or family member, consider letting them know what you've been experiencing so they can pray with you regularly and check in. And if this feeling of being on edge continues or makes daily life harder, it's wise to talk with a counselor or medical professional as well as continuing in prayer, they can listen and help you sort through what is happening.

Father, in Jesus' name we bring ### before You. We ask for Your peace to guard their mind and Your presence to fill their home. Calm anxious thoughts, give rest, and surround ### and their family with Your protection. Give wisdom and steady support from those around them, and help them to know they are held by You. Amen.

We have carried your request to the throne of grace and have prayed for you, for your home and for your families, that the Lord would grant you His own peace and keep you under the shadow of His wing.

You describe what many of the Lord's people have known, a restless, anxious mind, on edge without outward cause, as if the adversary would harass the thoughts. There is indeed an enemy who would disturb our peace, but there is a peace which he cannot touch, for it is the peace of God which passes all understanding, which shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Perfect peace, peace upon peace, is not found in looking inward or in trying to quiet your own thoughts by your own strength, but in staying the mind upon the Lord Jesus and upon His finished work. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus is rest even when duties press and thoughts throng.

We have prayed that the Lord of peace Himself would give you peace always and by all means, for He alone can give it. He is the God of peace who justifies and thereby implants peace in the soul, who restores peace when it is broken and preserves it when it is made. Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you, and bring every anxious thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Do not be of a doubtful mind, tossed to and fro, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Tell the Lord plainly what you feel, that you are worried and fearful, and ask Him to stay your mind upon His promises. Keep your heart with all diligence, dwell much upon the Word, and seek that settled trust in the Saviour which is the anchor of mind and heart.

May the God of peace be with you and make His presence to be your protection over your home and all your loved ones. May He guard your thoughts by day and your rest by night, and cause you to prove that His peace is able to keep you even in this dark world of sin, till you enjoy it more fully in His presence. We will continue to remember you before the Lord, asking that anxiety may depart and that quiet confidence in Christ may reign in its place. Amen.

Your request for prayer has been heard and we join with you before the Lord in this time of anxiety and restlessness.

We pray that God will grant you His peace, not the peace that the world gives which is fleeting and external, but the peace that Christ Himself leaves with His people, a peace that steadies the heart even when troubles remain. May the God of love and peace be with you and guard your mind in Christ Jesus.

We ask the Lord to lift the weight of anxiety that keeps you on edge and to quiet the thoughts that trouble you without cause. Scripture teaches that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind, and that when we bring our requests to Him with prayer and thanksgiving, His peace which passes all understanding will guard our hearts and minds. We pray that you will experience that guarding power now, that your conscience may be kept pure before Him, for a pure conscience brings comfort even in the midst of trials.

We also pray for protection over you, your home and your families. Do not fear those things that can trouble the body or the mind, for they cannot touch the soul that is kept by God. Fear the Lord and trust in Him who is able to keep both soul and body. Resist the enemy by submitting yourselves to God, and he will flee from you. When anxious thoughts come, turn to the Lord with intentness, stretching your soul toward heaven in earnest prayer, seeking His presence with a wakeful and fervent heart.

May the Lord teach you His fear, help you to keep your tongue from evil, to depart from evil and do good, and to seek peace and pursue it. As you walk with Him in love and in peace with one another, He delights to dwell with His people and to remove every evil that threatens.

We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and our true peace, asking that He will fill your mind with His presence, keep your home under His care, and let His love cast out fear. Amen.
