Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and allowing us to pray for you. We have lifted you, your home, and your family before the Lord.
We prayed first for the peace you asked for, that deep clarity of mind and strength of spirit. Scripture teaches that there are two kinds of peace and you need both. First there is peace with God, which only comes through the blood of Jesus Christ who made peace for us on the cross. When you have put your trust in Him and your sins are forgiven, the war with God is over. Then there is the peace of God, that steady, perfect peace that keeps your heart and mind when the world around you is full of turmoil and striving. That peace is promised to the one whose mind is stayed on the Lord because he trusts in Him. Jesus said to His disciples, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The world cannot understand it, but it guards the heart of the believer. As you keep your thoughts turned toward Him and trust Him to take care of what concerns you, His peace will fill your heart. We asked God to help you experience that daily, not just to know you are at peace with Him, but to know His peace keeping you.
We also prayed for the gifts you mentioned, for fortitude, foresight, wisdom, discernment, patience and perseverance. The wisdom that comes from above is peaceable. It leads to peace and brings you into peace within yourself, which then allows you to live at peace with others. When you sow peace, you reap a harvest of righteousness. We asked the Lord to pour out that heavenly wisdom upon you, to give you clear discernment to know His way, and patient endurance to walk in it.
For your finances and your housing situation we prayed that the Lord would provide for you according to His loving care and that He would guide you to the place He sees is best. He knows your needs and His thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace, to give you hope and a future. He has not forgotten you. We asked Him to supply what you need, to give you contentment and trust as your cup is filled, and to open the right door for your home in His perfect will and timing. The Lord has ordained peace for His people because He is the one who works in us, and we can rest in His care.
We prayed as well for the Lord's protection over you and over your parents and siblings, at home, at work and wherever they go. God Himself is your keeper and your deliverer, and He gives His angels charge to watch over His children. We asked Him to cover your household and your family with His hand, to keep you from harm and to bring you all safely under His care.
