We hear your cry for deliverance, and our hearts ache with yours as you endure this relentless spiritual torment. The occult is a dark and deceptive snare of the enemy, designed to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the powers of darkness (Colossians 2:15). You are not alone in this battle, God sees your suffering, and He is mighty to save.
First, we must rebuke the forces of darkness that have no right to harass you. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command every unclean spirit, every demonic influence, and every occult oppression to flee from you now. The Word of God declares, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). You have the victory in Christ, and we stand with you in that truth.
We also encourage you to examine your life for any footholds the enemy may have gained. Have you, even unknowingly, engaged with occult practices, objects, or influences in the past? Scripture is clear: "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). If there is anything in your life that aligns with these things, books, symbols, music, or even relationships, renounce them and remove them immediately. Burn, destroy, or discard them in a way that ensures they cannot be retrieved or reused. Confess any involvement to the Lord, repent, and ask for His cleansing (1 John 1:9).
Your relationship with God is not lost, He is waiting for you with open arms. The enemy wants you to believe you are beyond hope, but that is a lie. Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and His blood has already broken every chain. We pray that you would draw near to Him in this season, even if it feels difficult. Spend time in His Word, for "the sword of the Spirit... is the word of God" (Ephesians 6:17), and it is your weapon against the lies of the enemy. Worship Him, even if it feels like a sacrifice, for worship invites the presence of God to fill your life and push back the darkness.
We also urge you to surround yourself with strong believers who can stand with you in prayer and accountability. Isolation is one of the enemy’s greatest tactics, but God designed us to thrive in community. Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can be encouraged, prayed over, and discipled. Share your struggle with trusted believers who can intercede for you and help you walk in freedom. Remember, "though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken" (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name (Philippians 2:9). We lift up ### to You, Lord, and we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. You see the torment she has endured, and You are the God who hears the cries of Your children. We declare that the blood of Jesus has already defeated the powers of darkness, and we stand in that victory today.
Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of occult oppression over ###’s life. Send Your angels to encamp around her, to guard and protect her from every attack of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). Silence the voices of torment, Lord, and fill her ears with Your truth, Your peace, and Your presence. We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and despair, and we command them to leave in Jesus’ name. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask that You would reveal to ### any areas of her life where the enemy has gained a foothold. Give her the strength and courage to renounce and remove anything that does not align with Your Word. Cleanse her, Lord, and restore her to full fellowship with You. We pray that You would heal her mind, body, and spirit from the effects of this torment. Renew her strength, Lord, and let her rise up in the authority You have given her as Your child.
We pray for divine protection over ###’s home, her workplace, and every area of her life. Let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be condemned. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37), and we ask that You would restore to her the joy of her salvation (Psalm 51:12).
Lord, we also pray for those who are perpetrating this torment. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Let them see the emptiness of the occult and the fullness of life that is found only in You. Use this situation, Lord, to draw them to repentance and salvation.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would restore ###’s relationship with You. Let her experience Your love, Your grace, and Your power in a fresh and tangible way. Renew her passion for Your Word, her hunger for Your presence, and her desire to walk in obedience to You. Surround her with godly believers who can encourage and support her, and use her testimony to bring glory to Your name.
We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already defeated (1 Peter 5:8). You are not fighting for victory, you are fighting from victory. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11), and that power is greater than any force of darkness. Keep pressing into God, keep standing on His Word, and keep declaring His truth over your life. Freedom is not just possible, it is your inheritance in Christ. We stand with you, and we believe that God is moving even now to bring your breakthrough.
