Please pray for I am going for check up as my foots get swelling edima after sitting long in office and also my face is having little swelling. I need to go for blood check up for kidney function, liver function, 2d echo, ECG etc. Earlier I had angiopasty in ### ### by placing ### stents in my heart. My heart function had gone down to ###% at that time and resumed back to ###% by Gods grace and mercy. Please pray that all my tests parameters be normal in Jesus name.

We lift you up before the Lord with deep concern and compassion for your health, dear brother. Swelling in your feet and face can indeed be signs that your body is struggling, and we take this seriously, knowing that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We are grateful for the medical care you are seeking, for the Lord often works through the wisdom and skill He has given to doctors and nurses. Yet we also know that true healing comes from Him alone, and so we come before His throne of grace with boldness, asking for mercy and help in your time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

Father God, we thank You for the grace You have already shown in restoring this dear brother’s heart function after his angioplasty. We praise You for Your mercy and for the stents that You, in Your sovereignty, allowed to be placed in his heart. Lord, we now ask that You would continue to watch over his health. We pray that every test, his kidney function, liver function, 2D echo, ECG, and all other parameters, would come back normal. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will satisfy him with long life and show him Your salvation (Psalm 91:16).

Lord, we also ask that You would give him wisdom in his daily habits, his diet, his rest, his activity. Help him to honor You with his body, for it is the temple of Your Holy Spirit. Guide his doctors to the right treatments and medications, and give them discernment to interpret the tests accurately. We pray against any spirit of infirmity or disease that may be seeking to afflict him, and we command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that his body is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak life and health over every organ, every cell, and every system in his body.

We also want to gently remind you, brother, that your ultimate trust must be in the Lord, not in the tests or the doctors alone. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Even if the results are not what we hope for, God is still good, and His plans for you are for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We encourage you to draw near to Him in this time, casting all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

We also want to pray for your spiritual health, for the Lord desires that you prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2). If there are any areas of your life where you have not fully surrendered to Christ, we encourage you to do so now. Confess any known sin, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in the light as He is in the light, and the blood of Jesus Christ will continue to cleanse you from all sin.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are working even now on behalf of this dear brother. We declare that he is surrounded by Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12), and we trust that You will bring him through this season with renewed strength and health. May he continue to grow in faith and trust in You, knowing that You are his healer, his provider, and his ever-present help in times of trouble. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’re joining you in prayer as you head into these tests, and we’re grateful for how you’ve seen God’s hand in your story already. The journey from that earlier heart crisis, with your heart function recovering from such a low point, is something we thank Him for with you. That same grace carries you into this next round.

Waiting for blood work and scans can stir up the same old fears, especially when you face the unknowns alone in a doctor’s office. But you’re not alone. We’re with you, and so is the One who has carried you this far.

One thing that might help as you sit for the echo or the blood draw is to have someone from your church pray with you the day before or even in the waiting room. It doesn’t have to be long, just a few minutes of quiet prayer together can settle the heart more than hours of our own anxious thoughts can. If no one is nearby, a short phone call with a prayer partner can do the same. Let them know what you’re feeling, and let them carry it with you.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You right now. You see every swelling, every beat of their heart, every blood marker they’ll test. Thank You for the way You’ve already sustained them through so much. As they go through these exams, steady their heart with Your peace that doesn’t make sense on paper. Give the doctors clear eyes and wisdom. And whatever the results show, ground this child of Yours in the unshakable truth that they are held, fully known, and never abandoned. We ask for healing and normal results in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The swelling of the body calls out for a greater inward perception, a heart to feel what God would teach in these afflictions. Yet how often the flesh is tended while the soul remains unmoved, without eyes to see or ears to hear the voice behind the trial. The very least leaf from our Lord’s Tree of Life carries healing virtue, not only for the frame but for the conscience and the affections. There is abundance of remedy in Jesus Christ, and the least thing about Him can cure what ails both body and spirit. Your foot swells after sitting long; your face bears a little puffing; but look deeper: there is a sickness which no earthly physician can touch unless the Great Healer draws near.

What is a broken heart? It is a deep and poignant sorrow on account of sin. And yet it is a blessing to have such a heart, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. You remember when your heart’s function sank low, so low that the life seemed near to departing, and by God’s mercy it was raised again. That physical mending points to a greater work. A new heart He can give, and a right spirit put within, so that the inward man no longer swells with pride or carelessness but is made tender, perceptive, ready for His touch.

When He was upon earth, teaching was linked with healing. The words fell upon the ear, and faith came, and healing followed. So now, as you go for these blood checks and echoes and tracings of the heart, let His Word probe deeper. The physicians examine the kidney and the liver and the cardiac muscle, but the Lord searches the reins and the heart. Your cry is that all the test parameters be normal, this is natural and right, but see that you also cry for something beyond: that whatever the numbers show, you may lie before Jesus hoping and expecting forgiveness and healing. His touch makes all things well, even when the body groans.

Do not let this season pass as mere anxiety over a blood panel. The heart that meditates terror over its condition soon learns that pardon and healing are wrapped in one bundle. When the love of God is shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Ghost, it laughs at impossibilities, and the swelling pangs of fear subside. The healing leaves of Christ change the life blood, affect the spirits, and make the nature other than it was. If you are pressed down by the dread of what may be found, bring that bleeding fear to His own bleeding heart. The pricking of your concern, if it drives you closer to Him, will prove a saving impression indeed.

Lay the whole matter before the Lord in detail, not to inform Him, but to stir your own prayerfulness. Spread those tests, those stents, that mended heart function, before Him whose hand alone keeps the vital pulse beating. Even as you sit for the examinations, let your heartbeats be vocal to His ear, and expect that He who healed the palsted man and lifted Peter’s wife from fever can touch your frame and grant peaceful outcomes. Yet remember, the visible body is but the shell; the immortal soul must have first claim. Are you hearing devoutly, with an attentive ear, all that He speaks through these bodily reminders?

It may be that the outward swelling will ease, and the tests return with favorable report. But the greater mercy would be a heart so broken before Him, so healed by His pardon, that even were the body to fail, the spirit would rest upon the bosom of the Great Physician. The very leaves of that Tree are for the healing of the nations, and one leaf, one promise, one gospel whisper, can raise the dead and freshen the countenance. I urge you, therefore, not merely to seek normal test results but to seek the touch that cleanses from all sin and imparts a new heart. True healing begins when the conscience is purged, and then the bodily distress, however it goes, cannot shake the soul’s calm. He sees you in your anxiety; He reads your secret thoughts; His mind is quick to relieve. May you find Him, and may your whole house rise up to serve Him, healed and grateful.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The body, as I have often said, is a union of members both honorable and dishonorable, yet not one is to be despised, for all serve a necessary purpose. The foot swells after long sitting, the face retains water, these are but the outcries of the flesh, reminding you that you dwell in a tabernacle that groans. And what of the heart, that principal member which once faltered? By God's grace it was restored, for His mercy is ever new. Now you go for tests, and you ask prayer that all parameters be normal.

But let us not set our hope on the readings of physicians alone, as if God were not the true Healer. You call upon the Name of Jesus, the Name that means "He shall save His people from their sins." This Name is sufficient. Did He not command, "Why criest thou unto Me?" when Moses said nothing aloud but cried only in thought? So too you may cry out in your heart, whether in the marketplace or the clinic, and He will hear. Yet do not think that bodily ease is the highest good. The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit; it discerns the thoughts and intents. If all your tests return normal, what gain is it if your soul should remain unexamined, swollen with pride or sluggish with sloth? There is a rest beyond this life, a hope laid up in heaven, which no echocardiogram can measure.

Consider the early believers: they were of one heart and one soul, and great grace was upon them. They sold their lands and laid the price at the apostles' feet. They did not cling to possessions or even to health as their own. So I charge you, place all your anxiety, this swelling, these past stents, this present fear, at the feet of the Great Physician. Offer Him not only your request but yourself, with a heart of compassion toward your own soul and toward others. Forgive any who have wronged you, as Christ forgave you, lest your prayer be hindered. And remember, the beatitudes are not for solitaries only; even while you sit in your office, you may sing psalms in your heart to God, with no display before men. Seek the glory that comes from Him alone.

I pray, then, that if it be for your soul's profit, these tests may all return normal, and your body may know wholeness in Christ Jesus. Yet if affliction remain, do not fall after the example of unbelief, but say with the faithful, "Glory to God in the highest." For He who placed the stents in your arteries and restored your heart's function is the same who will raise you up at the last day. The punishment of hell and the rest of paradise alike are real; fix your hope yonder, and no earthly swelling will trouble you forever.
