Pray for personal problem

Shior

Disciple of Prayer
Kindly pray that my husband should stop abusing me and my parents though they have died. Even if I ask him any small things he uses sexual abuses against me and my parents. He yells on top of his voice. Bad testimony goes from our house. He calls himself man of God. But he torments ne with his behavior, speech and actions. Pray for my job that my colleague should be with me and should cooperate till my retirement. I am planning retirement in December. Let everything should take place peacefully in Lord Jesus mighty name

We are deeply grieved to hear of the suffering and injustice you are enduring in your marriage. The Word of God is clear that husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the Church, selflessly, sacrificially, and with gentleness (Ephesians 5:25). The abuse you describe, verbal, emotional, and sexual, is a direct violation of God’s design for marriage, which is meant to reflect His love, not cruelty. A man who claims to be a "man of God" yet behaves this way is living in hypocrisy, and his actions bring reproach upon the name of Christ. We rebuke this spirit of abuse in the mighty name of Jesus and declare that it has no place in your home or your life.

The Bible commands us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and to expose deeds of darkness (Ephesians 5:11). Your husband’s behavior is not only sinful but dangerous, and it must be confronted with both truth and wisdom. We encourage you to seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian leader who can help address this situation with biblical authority. If he refuses to repent, Scripture is clear that we are not to tolerate ongoing sin, especially in a marriage covenant (Matthew 18:15-17). Your safety and dignity are precious in God’s sight, and He does not call you to endure abuse in silence.

We also lift up your workplace situation, asking the Lord to soften your colleague’s heart toward cooperation and kindness. May the Lord grant you favor as you prepare for retirement, and may every detail unfold in peace, according to His perfect will. You are not alone in this, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God sees your pain and will bring justice and restoration.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You with heavy hearts for our sister who is suffering under the weight of abuse and manipulation. Lord, You are a refuge for the oppressed (Psalm 9:9), and we ask that You be her strong tower in this storm. Break the chains of fear and shame that have bound her, and give her the courage to seek help and set boundaries according to Your Word. We rebuke every spirit of control, anger, and perversion that has taken root in her home, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name.

Father, we pray for her husband, that You would convict his heart of his sin and lead him to genuine repentance. If he will not turn from his wickedness, we ask that You remove his influence from her life and grant her the wisdom to make decisions that honor You. Protect her mind, body, and spirit from further harm, and surround her with believers who will support and encourage her.

For her job, Lord, we ask that You would unite her with her colleague in harmony and cooperation. Smooth the path to her retirement, and let every step be ordered by Your peace. Provide for her needs, both now and in the future, and let her see Your faithfulness in every area of her life.

We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will turn her mourning into joy (Jeremiah 31:13). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that she is deeply loved by You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weight and the pain in what you’ve shared. To live under verbal and sexual abuse from someone who claims to be a man of God is a deeply confusing and wounding thing, and we are so sorry you are facing this. The aggression you described, the yelling, the vile speech, the torment, is not okay, and you do not deserve to be treated this way.

Your safety matters right now. If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. Trained people are standing by to help you think through your situation and your options.

We also want to offer a grounded insight: in situations where there is a pattern of intimidation, fear, or injury, couples counseling is actually not advised. That doesn't mean help isn't available, but it means that your own safety and clear thinking come first. You are not responsible for his choices, and focusing on your own stability right now is not a failure, it is wisdom.

We are also holding the practical piece you mentioned: your desire for a peaceful work environment with a cooperative colleague until your retirement in December. That is a good and reasonable hope, and we pray God makes a way for that season to close with dignity and calm.

Let’s pray.

Lord Jesus, we bring this dear woman before You now. You see every wound and every fear. Surround her with Your protection, and give her courage and clarity to take the steps that lead toward safety. Stop the torrent of abuse, and bring her into a place of peace. Guard her at work, and grant her the gift of a cooperative colleague and a smooth path to retirement. Heal the ache of missing her parents, and restore her sense of dignity and worth. In Your mighty name we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Tears are not wasted that fall into the bottle of the Lord. He sees the oppression you endure, the cruel words spoken against you and your departed parents, the blasphemy of a man who dares to call himself a man of God while his tongue is set on fire of hell. The trial is bitter, and it is made more bitter still because it comes from one who should be a protector, not a persecutor. Yet know this: the Lord has not given the wolf charge over the lamb forever. There is a Vindicator who lives, and though your adversary storms, He will bring forth your righteousness as the light.

Remember, the devil himself must give account of every roaming step to the Almighty. This man’s raging has its bounds set by the hand that holds the sea in its hollow. The Lord permits, but He pities. He hears every vile shout that goes up from your house, and the testimony that seems so shameful now will yet be silenced by the Judge of all the earth. Commit your cause to Him who judges righteously. The stump of Dagon may still stand in the temple of that man’s heart, but it shall be broken utterly when Christ takes full possession. Do not look to him for your peace; he is a broken cistern. Look to the Husband of your soul, the Lord Jesus, whose love is without violence, whose words are healing leaves from the tree of life. He has redeemed you from sin and the curse, and He will redeem your name from reproach. Even now, the least whisper of His grace can drop like balm into wounds he has inflicted.

Let your retirement be placed in hands that ordered your first breath and will order your last. If your colleague stands with you, it is the Lord's doing; if they fail, still the Lord remains. The quiet turning of your captivity may be nearer than you think. Meanwhile, lean hard upon the cross; begin life again there, washed anew, trusting not in your own endurance but in the power that forgives, heals, and preserves. The Lord can make even this bitter cup a healing draught. He will shut the lions’ mouths, and in the end, the evil man shall not have the final word, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least Word of your Savior carries medicine for your soul. Trust Him, and wait in silence before Him.

The Lord sees your tears and the cruelty you suffer in secret. He who disclosed the hidden life of the Samaritan woman knows full well the hypocrisy of a man who calls himself a servant of God yet defiles his tongue with abuse and his hands with violence. Do not be deceived: such a man will give an account on the day of judgment, for God permits the wicked to continue only for a time, until each receives according to his deeds.

When he reviles you and even the memory of your departed parents, do not descend to answer him in kind. To return insult for insult is the mark of a weak soul; but to bear it quietly, entrusting yourself to God who judges justly, that is true nobility. If a husband is harsh, the wife’s gentleness, modesty, and fear of God do more to disarm him than any clever words. Let your conduct be such that even if he will not listen, your chaste and reverent behavior may yet speak to his conscience.

Do not fix your hope on earthly things, not even on a peaceful retirement, as though that alone would bring rest. The one thing needful is to seek the food that endures to eternal life. As you labor in your workplace, do so with diligence and entrust the cooperation of your colleague and the matter of your retirement entirely into God’s hands. He who feeds the birds of the air will not fail you. Take no anxious thought for the months ahead; each day’s own trouble is enough. Pray for those who persecute you, and keep yourself from bitterness, for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

Persevere in prayer, and leave vengeance to the Lord. He will bring forth your righteousness like the dawn and your just cause like the noonday sun.
