We join you in lifting up your child before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for calling on the name of the Lord Jesus in your time of worry.
We know how anxious a hurried journey can make both a parent and a child, especially when something so small yet so important as a room key seems to be missing. We are reminded that our God cares about even the smallest details of our lives and invites us to bring every concern to Him. Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and we take comfort in the promise, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
We pray together for your dear child now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we thank You that we can approach Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this precious child to You as he travels. Lord, You see his bag, You know where his room key is, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that if it is Your will, You would allow him to find his key safely inside his bag and relieve his worry. Grant him a peaceful and protected journey, keep his steps and guard his coming and going. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:8 We ask that You calm his heart and the heart of his parent who is praying for him, and replace anxiety with Your perfect peace that passes understanding. Guide him safely until he reaches his room and let this be a reminder of Your faithful care in every small and large need. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to rest in the Lord's care while you wait to hear from him. God is with your child on the train and in every step of his journey, even when we feel far apart. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 We will continue to pray that he finds his key and arrives safely and that you both will be filled with peace as you trust the Lord to watch over him.
