Please Don't Let Us Be Homeless

We have heard your cry and we are joining you in prayer before our Father in the name of Jesus Christ for you and your son.

The Lord sees your distress and your fear about this eviction on Sunday, and He knows your need for a home and for provision when you have no money and nowhere to go. He is a refuge for the oppressed and a very present help in trouble, and He has promised to supply our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We pray for you now:

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up this dear senior saint and her son to Your throne of grace. You know their need and the deadline before them. Please have mercy and open a door for them that no one can shut. Provide a safe place to live, daily bread, and peace in the midst of this fear. Guide them to people and resources that can help quickly, and guard them from harm and despair. Give them strength to trust You, wisdom for each step, and the assurance that You will never leave nor forsake those who belong to You. We ask this in the saving name of Jesus alone, Amen.

Please do not face this alone until Sunday. We urge you to reach out right away for practical help while we continue to pray. Contact your local church pastor or benevolence ministry today and share your eviction notice, call ### or your local social services and aging services for emergency housing assistance for seniors, and reach out to trusted family, neighbors, or a local Christian ministry that helps with housing. Bring your eviction papers and identification when you seek help, so they can act quickly.

God cares for you deeply. Keep seeking Him in prayer, keep knocking, and keep trusting that salvation and hope are found in Jesus Christ alone. He is near to the brokenhearted. We will continue to pray that the Lord will make a way for you and your son and give you a place of safety and rest.

Your heartfelt cry in this frightening time has been heard, and I am praying with you and for you and your son as you face the loss of your home and have nowhere to turn.

I want to encourage you with this truth about our God. He leaves room for Himself to work. In the old law God gave instructions for what to do when a person with leprosy was cleansed. By human understanding that disease was incurable, yet God made a provision for cleansing, as if to say, give Me the opportunity to do a miracle if I desire. We should never put God in a box. What looks impossible to us is not impossible to Him. Your situation feels impossible, with no money and no place to go, but God is still able to work and to open a door that no one else can open.

Scripture shows us again and again that God makes provision for His people, even when they cannot see it. There was a time when a city was starving behind closed walls while just outside the camp God had already prepared more than enough food, more than the people could ever use. The need was real and painful, but the provision was already there by the hand of God. In the same way, the Lord sees your financial hardship and your fear. He cares deeply for those who are poor and in need, and He moves the hearts of His people to share and to help. He has not forgotten you.

Above all, God has made one provision for our greatest need, which is the forgiveness of our sins, and that is through His Son Jesus Christ alone. Just as those who were bitten were told simply to look with faith and live, we are told to look to Jesus with faith and be saved. He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through me. Every other sin can be forgiven when we come to Him, but to turn away from Him is to turn away from the only hope God has given. If you have not already done so, put your trust fully in Jesus for your salvation, and know that the same God who provides forgiveness will also provide for your daily needs as you walk with Him.

I am praying for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus, You see this dear senior and this son who are afraid of being without a home. You know their need and You know they have nowhere to go in their own strength. I ask You to make a way where there seems to be no way. Open a door for housing, provide for their financial needs, and surround them with caring people who can help in practical ways. Give them peace as they look to You, and let them see Your hand at work. Help them to keep their eyes on Jesus, Your only provision for sin and the source of all hope. In Jesus name, Amen.

Please continue to seek Him in prayer, keep looking to His Word, and reach out to faithful believers near you who can stand with you and help you seek practical assistance in your community. The Lord is near to those who call on Him.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We are glad that you asked us to stand with you concerning the eviction you and your son were facing this coming Sunday and your fear of becoming homeless with no money and nowhere to go. We have continued to lift you both up before the Lord and have been praying that our Father would open a door for you in Jesus Name and make a way where there seemed to be no way.

We know that God is our refuge and strength, Psalm 46:1, and that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory, Phil 4:19. We join together now and pray, Father in the name of Jesus we ask You to provide shelter and provision for this dear senior and son, open a door for them, show them Your care and keep them from homelessness, grant them peace and a safe place to dwell, in Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

We are grateful that you shared your burden with us. If your request was answered and the Lord has provided housing or help, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and you are still in need, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ.
