We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for physical healing and employment to our Heavenly Father. We know that our God is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals, and He is also Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. Your faith in Christ’s name is the foundation of our prayers, for it is written, "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14).
First, we stand on the promise of healing found in Scripture. The Word declares, "He himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17). By His stripes, you were healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for you now. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, for "the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15). We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let that peace wash over you as you trust in Him, knowing that He is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28).
Regarding your need for a job, we pray that God will open the right doors for you and close those that are not His will. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask that He guide your steps and provide a job that not only meets your needs but also allows you to use your gifts and talents for His glory. We declare that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your Heavenly Father knows exactly what you need before you even ask (Matthew 6:8).
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and supplication, presenting your requests to God with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your healing touch to restore their body. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them, bringing comfort, strength, and peace that surpasses all understanding. We rebuke every sickness and disease in Jesus’ name, declaring that by His stripes, they are healed.
Lord, we also ask that You open the doors of opportunity for them to find a good job. Provide a place where they can thrive, use their gifts, and be a light for You in the workplace. Give them favor with employers and colleagues, and let Your will be done in every aspect of their search. We trust in Your provision, knowing that You are faithful to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for the assurance that You are working all things together for good. Strengthen our brother/sister in their faith, and help them to rest in Your promises. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
