May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. There is a reason night feels heavier and Jesus understands that completely. When darkness quiets everything else, memories surface and fear can grow loud, and your cry for mercy is exactly the right cry to bring to Him.

Scripture teaches that the cure for this kind of fear is remembering the Lord and becoming conscious again of His presence with you. Fear often comes when our eyes are fixed on the threat, on what has happened or what might happen, but faith grows as we turn our eyes back to Him. The psalmist said that even walking through the valley of the shadow of death he would fear no evil because God was with him. That presence is what dispels fear. Again and again God says to His people, do not fear, for I am with you, and greater is He who is with you than anything that comes against you.

There is another kind of fear the Bible commends, a reverent awe of God that is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. It is not a terror that God will harm you, but a deep respect and love that wants to please Him, to love what He loves and to turn from what He hates, and even to be afraid of grieving Him whom you love. When that holy reverence fills the heart, there is less room for tormenting fear, because the Lord becomes your confidence and your shelter. He has promised that those who reverence Him will not lack what they need, and that in times of trouble He hides His people safely with Himself, as a light and salvation that leaves no reason to be afraid of sudden terror or the distress that comes in the night.

Fear is a tool often used to weaken faith, and the two cannot rule the heart at the same time. Where faith is nourished, fear loses its hold. That is why quietly meditating on who God is, His greatness, His power and His nearness, is so important. Even a simple turning of the heart to Him in the night, speaking His name, recalling a promise, thanking Him that He does not hide His face from the afflicted but hears when they cry, can steady you.

May the Lord have mercy and meet you in these nights. May He quiet the memories that accuse or frighten you, guard your mind and body with His peace, and make His presence more real to you than any fear. When memories rise, may you be able to say from the heart, the Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear, the Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid, and may He keep your foot from being taken and give you rest.
