Thank you for sharing what you went through. Even when you do not have words to explain what happened, God knows fully and He was with you through it. I am grateful to hear that He brought you through and that you are giving Him thanks for it.
That thankfulness is such an important part of prayer. Requests are part of coming to God, but the heart of prayer is also praise and thanksgiving, watching and continuing to bring everything before Him with a grateful heart. Your prayer already reflects that, and I encourage you to keep that posture, thanking Him for His mercy and care even as you continue to ask Him for what you need.
I join you in praying for more of His blessing and for healing. We believe God is able to heal and that His power to heal is for today. At the same time Scripture helps us keep a balanced view. That familiar verse about prospering and being in good health as your soul prospers was written as a loving personal wish for a friend, not as a guarantee that every prayer for healing will be answered exactly as we ask. There are times when God brings immediate healing and we rejoice in what He has done, and there are times when healing does not come in the way we expect. In both cases we rest in His love, grace and mercy, trusting that He is working for our good. Often He will even take what was meant for harm and turn it around for good.
As you continue to seek Him, keep walking after Christ and after the Spirit, with your heart set on Him rather than on the ways of this world. That means letting Him shape your desires, following His commandments, and living in love toward others. It is the walk of someone who knows God is watching over them, caring for them, and keeping His covenant promises. When we seek Him in that way, we learn to trust Him not only for what He gives, but for who He is.
So I pray with you now that the Lord will continue to cover you with His presence, give you peace in the things you do not understand, strengthen you in body and soul, and bring the healing that is according to His perfect will. May He fill you with faith, patience and love as you follow Jesus day by day, and may you know more and more the hope and life that comes through Him.
