Beloved Warrior
My son just got up tormented and confused. Please pray that he will be able to use his words to express his needs and wants calmly with his functional language. Lord please bless him with a restful and peaceful night with his caregivers and everyone in his surroundings alway. Lord I pray that he will have a calm rest of the night tonight because my younger daughter needs to study now. I know nothing is impossible for You, Lord. I pray he'll go back to sleep and have a sweet peaceful sleep with no bad dreams. I ask Lord for my son to be relaxed and satisfied the rest of tonight. Lord, if there are any anxiety, screaming, rigid habits, stubbornness, fear, torment, division, anger, spiritual attacks, sensory habits and anything not of You that will try to steal his peace, satisfaction and joy to be gone forever and never return in Jesus name. Bless him with Your continued peace every night and every day. Lord, I rebuke any spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, frustration, isolation, division, chaos and confusion that has sought to disrupt my son's peace. I rebuke any negative habits, rigidity, discomfort and any this not of You to bow to the name of Jesus and depart from him forever. I ask Lord that You remove or redirect anyone who look at him as a burden, does not understand his disability, does not have his best interest at heart, cause havoc in his life. I declare that abundance of peace, joy, and satisfaction over his life. Father, I ask that You to surround him with Your hedge of protection, no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. Let ministering angels encamp around him, guarding him in all his ways. Wrap him in Your loving arms and soothe him to gently that he will be overcome with Your peace and saturated with Your joy and gentleness. I pray for healing in his mind, body, and spirit. By the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). I declare restoration over his health, particularly addressing autism, PTSD, anxiety, and sensory challenges. Lord, remove every source of physical distress, discomfort, and pain. Let him eat in peace, sleep without disturbance, and wake refreshed, full of Your joy and strength. I speak calm over his schedule, his meals, his routines, his activities and his interactions. May he adjust with ease, communicate with gentleness and confidence, and find satisfaction in all he does. Father, I ask You to fill his caregivers, me, our family and friends with wisdom, patience, and discernment. Provide godly mentors and friends who will encourage and uplift him. Provide my son with additional caregivers who would follow our protocol to respect him, include him, find him as a joy to work with, and bring out the best in every aspect of his life. Grant him additional services that will only help him not cause regression. I declare breakthrough and favor in my son and our family lives. Restore or strengthen the bonds between my son, his caregivers, broken relationship, me, his siblings, friends and family members, filling their relationships with love, compassion, understanding, gratefulness, love and unity. Remove any division, isolation, or negative influences that seeks to harm these relationships. Let my son be a beacon of Your light, reflecting Your love and grace in all he does and for everyone to see. I declare breakthroughs over every area of his life, his health, his habits, his communication, meals, his relationships, and his daily routines. Let setbacks be replaced with Your blessings, and let favor surround him like a shield. I thank You, Lord, for the victories You have already won and for the miracles You are working even now. Your Word says that where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are in their midst (Matthew 18:20). We stand together in agreement, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. I pray for my entire household, that we may all have a peaceful and satisfy day tomorrow and everyday and rest in the peace of God tonight and every night. Jesus may Your bright light dispel every shadow of darkness, and may Your presence fill our home with calm, joy, love and safety. Lord bless my younger daughter and her dog with restful sleep tonight and quietness while she study in the morning. Lord I ask that You guide and protect me and my family in all our travels, daily activities, nightly rest, spiritual attacks and negative influences. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your precious son before the throne of grace and we stand in agreement for his peace tonight and every night. We hear your heart as a mother who loves her children deeply and who is weary from watching your son tormented and confused, and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus with such faith, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we are saved. Acts 4:12

We are encouraged by your faith that nothing is impossible for our Lord, for with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 and nothing is impossible with God. Luke 1:37. We rebuke together with you every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, frustration, confusion, division and chaos that has sought to steal his peace, for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. The Lord desires for him to lie down in peace and sleep, for He gives sleep to His beloved. Psalm 4:8 and when you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet. Proverbs 3:24.

We pray together now for your son and for your whole household.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up this beloved son to You. Lord, You formed him and You know every need, every sensory challenge, every struggle with autism, anxiety and past trauma. We ask You to calm his mind, his body and his spirit. Let every source of physical distress, discomfort and pain be eased by Your merciful hand, for by Your stripes he is healed. Isaiah 53:5. We ask that You grant him functional language in this moment and in the days to come, that he may express his needs and wants calmly and with confidence, and that frustration and screaming would be replaced with gentle words. Give him a restful and peaceful night, free from bad dreams, fear and torment. Let him eat in peace, sleep without disturbance and wake refreshed, full of Your joy and strength. We put upon him in prayer the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the preparation of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. Ephesians 6:11. Surround him with Your hedge of protection and let no weapon that is formed against him prosper. Isaiah 54:17. Command Your angels concerning him to guard him in all his ways. Psalm 91:11. Wrap him in Your loving arms and saturate him with Your gentleness and peace that passes understanding.

We also lift up his caregivers and you, his mother, and his siblings and all who surround him. Grant to you and to his caregivers wisdom, patience and discernment, for if any lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives generously. James 1:5. Remove or redirect anyone who does not have his best interest at heart, who sees him as a burden or who causes havoc, and instead provide godly helpers, mentors and friends who will respect him, include him, find joy in working with him and bring out the best in him. Let every service and routine and schedule and meal be established in calm and let him adjust with ease and find satisfaction in all he does. Restore and strengthen the bonds between him and his family and caregivers with love, compassion, understanding and unity, and remove every division and isolation. We pray for Your favor and breakthrough over every area of his life, his health, his habits, his communication and his daily routines.

We remember also your younger daughter and even her dog, and we ask Lord that You bless her with quietness to study and with restful sleep tonight, and that You fill your home with Your presence, that Your light would dispel every shadow of darkness and Your peace would rest upon every room. Where two or three are gathered in Your name You are in the midst. Matthew 18:20 and we trust You hear our united prayer according to Your perfect will. Sustain this dear mother with strength, for You give power to the faint and to him who has no might You increase strength. Isaiah 40:29. Help her not to grow weary in doing good. Galatians 6:9. Guide and protect this whole family in all their travels, daily activities and nightly rest.

We thank You Lord for the victories You have already won and for the miracles You are working even now. We trust Your perfect love which casts out fear. 1 John 4:18. Let Your joy be his strength and let him be a beacon of Your light reflecting Your love and grace to all who see him. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you tonight. We can hear how much love you have for your son and how heavy these broken nights feel, especially when you are also trying to protect quiet for your daughter to study.

We are holding your son before the Lord with you, asking for calm to settle over him and for his caregivers to be able to understand his needs with gentleness. We also remember you in this, the weariness of being up and watching and advocating for him hour by hour is real, and God sees your faithfulness.

One small thing that has helped other families navigating sensory and sleep struggles is keeping a very simple night note for a week or two, just time he woke, what seemed to soothe him, light and sound in the room, and how he settled again. It is not a diagnosis, just a clear picture you can share with his caregivers and his care team so you are all working from the same gentle routine and can keep stimulation low in the evening. If wakefulness or distress continues, keep leaning on his doctors and therapists alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this precious boy to You tonight, ask for Your peace to guard him and Your presence to calm his body and mind. Give him rest without fear and words that come more easily when he needs help. Surround his caregivers with patience and wisdom, and give this mom and her daughter quiet and strength for tomorrow. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for your son in this night of torment and confusion has been heard and carried before the throne of grace, and we join our hearts with yours in agreement before the Lord.

We are reminded that sleep is the gift of God, for so He giveth His beloved sleep. It is not by our own power that we lay our heads upon our pillows and find rest, but by His merciful hand. We have asked the Lord to bestow upon your son that peculiar sleep of the beloved, a sleep of contentment and of security, that he may lie down in peace and be refreshed, without bad dreams or disturbance, and wake with joy and strength. We have prayed that the Lord would calm his spirit and his body, that He would quiet anxiety and fear and torment, and grant him grace to use his words to express his needs and wants calmly and with gentleness and confidence.

We have also prayed against every influence that would steal his peace and joy, asking that all fear and confusion and frustration and spiritual attack would be driven far from him by the power of the name of Jesus. May the Lord surround him with His hedge of protection and clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and let ministering angels encamp around him to guard him in all his ways.

We know that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in Christ, and that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the least thing about Christ has healing virtue to change the life and make the nature new. By the stripes of Jesus we are healed, and we have asked the Great Physician to bring His healing to your son in mind and body and spirit, to remove every source of physical distress and discomfort and pain, to give peace to his meals and his routines and his interactions, and to grant him satisfaction and calm in all he does. We trust not in our own declarations but in the sovereign mercy of God who alone can heal the broken heart and bind up its wounds.

We have lifted up your younger daughter and your household, that the Lord would grant her quietness for study and restful sleep, and that your home would be filled with His calm and love and safety. We have prayed for you and for all who care for your son, that God would fill you with wisdom and patience and discernment, and provide godly helpers who will respect him and include him and bring out the best in his life, and that every service provided would be for his true good. We have asked that the Lord would strengthen the bonds between your son and his caregivers and his family and friends with love and compassion and understanding and unity, and remove every division and negative influence.

Where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst, and we stand together believing that He hears according to His perfect will. May you and your family rest tonight and every night in the peace of God which passes all understanding, looking to Jesus Christ alone for salvation and for every blessing, for apart from Him there is no other name by which we are saved. May His bright light dispel every shadow of darkness and may His presence keep you in all your travels and daily activities.

In the name of Jesus our only hope and healer, Amen.
