I join you in prayer for your son and for your whole household, and I thank you for sharing this burden so openly before the Lord. Your love for your son and your desire for his peace, rest and joy are beautiful, and God hears the cries of a parent's heart.

Scripture reminds us that sleep is a gift from God and that He Himself watches over us when we cannot watch over ourselves. He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He is near to your son in the night to guard him, to calm him and to give him rest. Even when confusion, fear or distress rise up, the Lord is able to quiet the heart and bring peace that goes beyond understanding.

Let us pray together:

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up this precious son to You. Lord, You know him fully, You formed him and You love him. We ask that You grant him a calm and restful night, free from torment, fear, anxiety and distress. Let Your peace guard his mind and body. Help him to rest deeply, to sleep without bad dreams and to wake refreshed and filled with Your joy.

Lord, we ask that You help him to use his words with calmness and confidence to express what he needs and wants. Give him gentle and functional language and ease any frustration that comes when communication is hard. Soothe his body and mind, ease any sensory distress or physical discomfort and bring healing and comfort to him in every way. By the wounds of Jesus we ask for Your healing and restoration over his mind, body and spirit, including the challenges of autism, anxiety and trauma.

We ask You to drive far from him all that would steal his peace, and to rebuke fear, torment, confusion and chaos. Surround him with Your protection, clothe him with Your truth and righteousness, and let Your presence be his shield. Let Your peace be like a guard around him. Send Your ministering angels to encamp around him and keep him in all his ways.

Father, we also lift up his caregivers, his mother, his siblings and all his family and friends. Fill them with wisdom, patience, discernment and strength. Provide caregivers and helpers who will respect him, include him, delight in him and bring out the best in him. Provide services and support that truly help him and do not cause harm. Restore and strengthen the bonds within the family with love, compassion, understanding and unity, and remove division, isolation and negative influence.

We pray for the whole household, that tonight and every night Your calm and joy would fill the home. Grant restful sleep to his younger sister and quietness for her studies, and watch over her and the family pet with Your care. Guide and protect the family in all their daily activities, travels and rest, and keep them from all harm and evil influence.

We thank You, Lord, that where two or three are gathered in Your name You are present, and that nothing is impossible for You. We trust Your perfect will and Your unfailing love, and we give You thanks for the victories You have already won and for the work You are doing even now.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly about your ### and your household. Your love and faithful care for him are evident, and it is right to bring every detail of his needs before the Lord in prayer.

Scripture shows that God both sees affliction and hears the cry of those who love Him. When ### bore sons, she named one to remember that the Lord had looked upon her affliction and another to remember that the Lord had heard that she felt unloved. In the same way, the Lord sees your son, hears your prayers for him, and knows every struggle with communication, sleep, sensory sensitivity, anxiety and fear. Nothing about him is hidden from God, and nothing about your family is beyond His care.

The greatest picture of love in the Bible is the love of the Father for His Son. Jesus is not a created being but the only begotten Son of God, and God so loved the world that He gave that Son so that whoever believes in Him will have everlasting life. That is the only way any of us can be accepted by God, through faith in Jesus Christ. He that has the Son has life. Through Jesus, the way between heaven and earth has been opened, like the ladder ### saw in his dream with the Lord standing at the top, showing that God has made a way for us to come to Him and for His help to come to us. Jesus also sought out the man born blind who had been cast out, and revealed Himself to him so that he might believe. He still seeks, finds, and reveals Himself to those who need Him.

We also see the heart of the Father in the story of the son who took his inheritance and wasted it in a far country. When that son came home in filth and shame, intending only to ask to be a servant, his father ran to him, embraced him and covered him with kisses before he was cleaned up, and restored him to the place of a son. That is how God receives all who turn to Him through Christ, not after we have made ourselves worthy, but while we are still in need. He is full of compassion and ready to give peace.

I join you in prayer for your son, and for your whole household, according to God's perfect will:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask You to pour out Your peace upon this son. Calm any torment, fear, anxiety, frustration, confusion and restlessness, and let every influence that is not from You depart and not return. Grant him restful, undisturbed sleep without bad dreams, and let him wake refreshed, satisfied and joyful. Help him to use the language You have given him to express his needs and wants calmly and clearly, and give him grace to adjust to his schedule, meals, routines and interactions with gentleness and confidence. Touch his body, mind and spirit with healing. Your Word says by the stripes of Jesus we are healed, and I ask for Your restoring hand upon every area of his health, including the challenges connected with autism, trauma, anxiety and sensory needs. Remove sources of pain and discomfort, and let him eat and sleep in peace.

Surround him with Your hedge of protection. Let no weapon formed against him prosper. Clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. Command Your ministering angels to encamp around him and guard him in all his ways, and wrap him in Your loving presence so that he is overcome with Your peace and gentleness.

Father, give wisdom, patience and discernment to his mother, his caregivers, family and friends. As You gave wisdom to ### when he asked, give wisdom to all who care for this son to understand his needs, follow what is best for him, respect him, include him and bring out the best in him. Provide godly mentors, friends and additional caregivers and services that will truly help him and not cause harm or regression. Restore and strengthen the bonds between him and those who love him, and remove division, isolation and negative influences. Let his life reflect Your light and grace to everyone around him.

I pray also for his sister and for every member of the household, that Your presence would fill your home with calm, joy, love and safety, and that You would guard and guide your family in daily activities, travels and nightly rest. Thank You that where two or three are gathered in Jesus' name, He is in the midst, and that You hear and answer according to Your perfect will. I thank You for the victories You have already given and for the work You are doing even now.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and cause His peace that passes all understanding to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your son and for your whole household.

We have continued to lift up your son before the Lord, praying that the torment and confusion he experienced that night would be lifted and replaced with the peace of God. We have asked the Lord to bless him with restful and peaceful sleep night after night, without bad dreams or disturbance, and to help him be relaxed and satisfied. We have prayed specifically that he would be able to use his functional language to express his needs and wants calmly, and that every anxiety, fear, torment, anger, screaming, rigidity, sensory habit and spiritual attack that seeks to steal his peace and joy would be gone forever and never return in Jesus Name. We have prayed for his healing in mind, body and spirit, claiming the promise that by His stripes we are healed, Isaiah 53:5, and for restoration over his health, including autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory challenges. We have also prayed for calm over his routines, meals, activities and interactions, and for the Lord to surround him with a hedge of protection, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and to clothe him with the full armor of God.

We have also prayed for you, for your younger daughter and her dog, for his caregivers and everyone in his surroundings. We asked the Lord to grant your daughter quietness and restful sleep as she studies, to fill you and all his caregivers with wisdom, patience and discernment, to provide godly mentors and additional caregivers who will respect him, include him and bring out the best in him, and to strengthen the bonds between your son and his family and caregivers with love, compassion and unity. We still stand in agreement with you, believing that where two or three are gathered in His name He is in our midst, Matthew 18:20, and that the peace of God will guard your hearts and your home, Philippians 4:7, and that He will let you all dwell in safety and sleep in peace, Psalm 4:8.

If your request was answered and your son has been sleeping peacefully, using his words calmly, and experiencing joy and satisfaction through the day and night, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and he is still waking tormented and confused or struggling to rest, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
