God, how should I start over? Where should I go? I want to teach and spread Your word. How can I find my tribe and grow? I still have dreams and goals. I want to fall in love and add new friends and family. Where show I go or do first? I feel taken for granted.

We hear your heart’s cry for a fresh start, a place to belong, and a way to live out the calling God has placed on your life. The longing to teach and spread His Word is a holy desire, one that comes from the Holy Spirit Himself. Let us seek the Lord together, trusting that He will direct your steps as you surrender this new season to Him.

First, we must rebuke any spirit of discouragement or feeling of being "taken for granted." The enemy would love to keep you stuck in frustration, but God has not forgotten you. He sees your dreams, your hunger for community, and your desire for love, all of which He placed within you. "For I know the plans I have for you," says Yahweh, "plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB) You are not starting over alone; you are stepping forward with the One who goes before you.

Now, let us address your questions with biblical truth:

Where should you go?
Seek the Lord in prayer first. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB) Ask Him to open doors to a church home where you can serve, grow, and find like-minded believers. Look for a body of believers who preach the full gospel, uphold Scripture, and encourage discipleship. If you are not already planted in a local church, make this your first priority. "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB)

How can you find your tribe and grow?
Godly community is found through obedience and service. Do not wait for friends to come to you, go to them by serving alongside them. Join a small group, volunteer in ministry, or attend Bible studies. "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance." (Proverbs 27:17 WEB) As you pour into others, God will bring the right people into your life. Also, examine your own heart: Are you seeking relationships that honor God? Are you being the kind of friend you wish to have, loyal, encouraging, and grounded in truth?

Falling in love and marriage:
If you desire marriage, pray for a godly spouse, someone who loves the Lord more than they love you. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh." (Proverbs 18:22 WEB) But do not make finding a spouse your sole focus. Instead, seek first God’s kingdom, and He will add all these things to you (Matthew 6:33). Courtship should be intentional, with marriage as the goal, not just companionship. Guard your heart and your purity, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). If you have stumbled in this area, repent and ask God for strength to walk in holiness.

Teaching and spreading God’s Word:
Start where you are. Share the gospel with those around you, neighbors, coworkers, or even online. "Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear." (1 Peter 3:15 WEB) If you feel called to formal teaching, seek mentorship from mature believers or consider biblical education. But remember, you do not need a title to make an impact, just a willing heart.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who makes all things new. Lord, You see the desires of this dear one’s heart, a fresh start, a place to belong, a way to serve You, and a godly marriage. We ask that You would go before them, open the right doors, and close the wrong ones. Lead them to a church family where they can grow, serve, and be sharpened by iron. Father, reveal Your will for their next steps, whether it be a new city, a ministry opportunity, or a season of preparation. Protect their heart from discouragement and fill them with Your peace.

Lord, we pray for godly friendships and, if it is Your will, a spouse who loves You above all else. Guard their heart from impatience and compromise. Help them to walk in purity and wisdom, honoring You in all their relationships. Give them boldness to share Your Word and the humility to learn from others.

We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says they are forgotten or unworthy. You have a plan for them, Lord, and it is good. We declare that their dreams are not dead, they are being refined for Your glory. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear fruit in every season.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

You are not starting over alone. God is with you, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you. Keep your eyes on Him, step out in faith, and watch how He moves. "Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." (Philippians 1:6 WEB)

It’s completely natural to feel lost when you’re standing at the edge of a new beginning and you’re not sure which step to take first. What we hear most in your words is a deep longing for belonging, for a community where you’re valued, where your gifts can unfold, and where you don’t have to fight to be seen. That ache is actually a good sign. It tells us God wired you for real connection, not just for sitting in a pew, and the desire to teach and share His word means He’s already shaping something in you for others.

One of the most grounding things we can do when everything feels up for grabs is narrow the focus from the whole future to what’s right in front of us. Where you go matters less than who you become rooted in first. So practically, we’d encourage you to land in a local church body and let yourself be known there, not as a project or a visitor, but as a brother who shows up consistently. Ask if there’s a small group, a Bible study, or a ministry team you can serve alongside. Sometimes the people who see you week after week become the tribe you’ve been praying for. And when you’re having an off day, they’ll be the ones who notice and check in, which makes feeling taken for granted less frequent over time.

Also, don’t be afraid to pursue your dream of teaching God’s Word even now. Maybe that starts by offering to lead a short study, or by simply sharing what you’re learning with one or two others over coffee. Taking a small step in the direction of your calling often clears up the next right move.

We’re praying with you about the desire for a godly spouse and new, deep friendships. Those are good longings, and you don’t have to hide them or rush them. Let’s ask Him together:

Lord Jesus, You see this man and his heart to start over well. Lead him to the community where he can grow, serve, and be truly known. Open doors for him to teach Your truth, and in Your timing, bring the people who will become faithful friends and family. Guard him from settling for less than Your best in love, and remind him daily that he is never forgotten by You. We ask this in Your name. Amen.

The very questions trembling on your lips reveal a heart that is tender toward the Lord, and that is no small mercy. You long to teach and spread His Word, you yearn for a tribe, for growth, for love and family, these desires, when sanctified, are the stirrings of the Divine life within you. But you feel taken for granted by men, and perhaps the bitterness of that neglect has made your path seem dark. Yet know this: every trial that wearies you is a disguised ambassador of love. If He caresses, it is love. If He chastens, it is love. There is not a single thread in the whole fabric of your circumstances that is not woven by infinite, inexhaustible, unchangeable Love. The Lord has indeed loved you, and He does love you, and He will love you, and that is the solid ground on which you must pitch your new tent.

You ask where to go first. Go to the Word. Not with a divided heart, picking and choosing what suits your taste, but with a holy appetite for all of it, the doctrines that humble, the precepts that guide, the promises that uplift. How many hearts have been broken because the thing they loved proved false! But when you love God’s Word, your love is not wasted upon an unworthy object. Great peace have they that love His Law, and nothing shall offend them. If you would find your true companions, look for those who love the Word exceedingly, who tremble at it, who feed upon it as their daily bread. That is your tribe, a people who count His words sweeter than honey. Do not seek them by the vain fellowship of the world, but by gathering where Christ is lifted up and His Gospel is the very center.

As for teaching and spreading His Word, the fear of the Lord will make you bold. When your heart stands in awe of God’s Word, you cease to be in awe of princes, or of the opinions of men who would take you for granted. The sting of taking offense often lies in the tail of our rebellion against the Divine will; but when you love that will intensely, you can even take pleasure in being slighted, for it instructs you in the hidden meanings of the Spirit. Do not wait for perfect clarity before you serve. The drift of all God’s teachings is to get you away from self and draw you to Christ. Are you looking to Him? Then the Divine operation is already at work. Let that look produce an intense, burning desire to bring others to feed upon free grace and dying love.

You speak of falling in love and adding new family. Here, walk with sacred jealousy, as God walks toward His own. He would have all our love, and He knows how an idol-polluted affection can defile the soul. Seek a union that is a covenant, not a convenience, one that mirrors that chaste marriage between Christ and His church, where reverence and holy love are one. Let your cry be to call Him Ishi, “my Husband,” in a bond so pure that you loathe even the language of the world. And if God grants you this, let it be with one who loves His Word, that together you may be heirs of the grace of life.

Do not waste your strength on the unquiet question of “where.” The Word of His purpose stands forever. Meditate upon it, turn the Truth over and over in your mind, tread it out with the feet of thought until the ruby juice flows and you are satisfied. Fed upon the Word, you will not be puffed up by prosperity, nor crushed by neglect. You will be like the earth receiving the snow, drinking in the moisture of heaven and bringing forth fruit. Hope in God’s mercy, and go do His commandments. The Lord will comfort your heart and establish you in every good word and work. That is your portion; take it and be at peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your feeling of being taken for granted betrays that your love still expects return. Examine yourself. The Apostle Paul longed to see the Romans, yet submitted to God’s will; he loved them, but not contrary to what seemed good to God. True love is jealous for God, not for our own comfort. If you desire to teach and spread His word, good. But remember: “he that teacheth, on teaching”, do it in humility, as a servant, not seeking a platform. You ask where to go and what to do first. Forget what lies behind; press toward the high calling. Root yourself in prayer and in the love that fulfills the law. Love without measure, and you will find your tribe, for love clears away all selfishness and makes room for others. As for falling in love, do not be impatient or curious beyond what seems good to Him. Present your dreams to God, serve Him with your spirit in the gospel, and He will order your steps. For when the fire of divine love burns in you, it consumes every hurt and prepares the soul for every good gift. Start, then, not with a new place but with a new heart of self-forgetting love. Then wherever you go, you will be at home in God.

Starting over can feel disorienting, but it also brims with quiet potential because God never wastes a season of emptiness. The foundation under every fresh beginning is not a map or a checklist but this truth: you were made for fellowship with God. That is your first and deepest purpose. He did not create you merely to serve or to wander; He created you to abide in His love and to know Him. When you grasp that His love initiated everything, that He moved toward you in Christ long before you ever thought to move toward Him, the pressure to figure out the whole path falls away. You begin from being loved, and out of that love you live and move.

You asked where to go first. Go deeper into that love. A life of teaching and spreading His word grows authentic only as it flows from a life that is being perfected in love. The world thinks of love as an emotion that rises and falls, but the love Scripture describes is different. It is a divine, self-sacrificing giving that does not wait to be treated fairly. It is the love that forgives the one who took you for granted, that does good to the one who overlooked you, that holds no record of wrongs. This kind of love is the proof that God’s Spirit is at work in you. So do not rush past the quiet work He wants to do in your heart right now. Before a public ministry, He builds a private history of grace.

Finding your tribe happens best when you stop looking for people who will fill your emptiness and start walking in love toward the people God has already placed near you. True fellowship is not found by demanding that others meet your needs; it is built when you lay down your rights out of love for a weaker brother or sister. Even in a new setting, the fastest way to feel alienated is to assert your liberties without regard for the conscience of another. But when you choose to limit yourself for the sake of building someone else up, love creates a home. That is the family of God taking shape around you. Let the atmosphere of your relationships be marked by humble service rather than a struggle to be valued. In God’s economy, the one who serves in love is the one who ends up surrounded by genuine friends.

Your dreams of falling in love and adding new family are good desires, but guard them by fixing your eyes on the pattern of Christ. The love that builds a lasting marriage or a secure home is not the fleeting rush of emotion that the culture calls “making love.” True love gives itself away. It offers assurance not just in words but in steady, sacrificial actions. If you hope to one day love a husband and children well, begin practicing that self-giving love now among the believers around you. The mother who shapes little ones in the ways of the Lord, or the father who models forgiveness instead of merely teaching it, is doing a ministry of eternal weight. Do not undervalue the hidden work of loving those closest to you; it is the very training ground for all you dream of doing outwardly.

You feel taken for granted, and that ache is real. But do not let it become a root of bitterness that chokes out love. The answer is not to demand recognition but to rest in the reality that your life is seen by the God who sent His Son to reconcile you to Himself. He does not take you for granted. In Christ, He has demonstrated His own love toward you while you were still far off. Let that love fill the empty places. As it does, your joy will be made full. And from the overflow of that fellowship, the questions of where to go and what to do first will resolve themselves gently. Walk in love. The path will be lit.
