Your heart is full of longings, and I do not reproach you for desiring a settled home, restored speech, health, joy, and a loving companion. But let us lay these requests before the Lord in the order of His Word, for many a soul loses peace by demanding from God what He has not promised in the way the soul imagines.
You speak of the blood of Jesus. It is good to plead that blood, but it is not a charm to secure every earthly wish. It is the price of redemption, the cleansing of guilt, and the door of access to the throne of grace. Come through that blood by faith in Christ alone, and you may ask boldly. Yet ask as a child, not as a creditor. You have not earned anything. The Gospel says salvation is of the Lord, and your deliverance from sin and guilt must come from the right hand of the Most High. It cannot, in any degree, come from yourself. Put away that word earned, and take Christ, who is made of God unto you wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.
You long for healing of speech and body. Pray for it, for the least thing about Christ has healing virtue; the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. But remember that Isaiah joins healing and pardon together: the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, and the people shall be forgiven their iniquity. Seek first the healing of the soul, and leave the body and the tongue to a wise Father. He may restore them, or He may give you grace to bear them, and either is a mercy.
You long for a new home, a room to rest, a place for your mother, your children, and your pets, and perhaps to live somewhere exotic. It is not sin to ask for a quiet habitation. Yet the Lord may give you Himself as your dwelling place before He gives you a dream home. The fear of the Lord is a strong confidence and His children have a place of refuge. Set not your heart upon a house that will decay or a land that will pass away. Seek the city whose builder and maker is God.
You speak of a Boaz, a boyfriend of your dreams, and a truck to pick you up. Let me be faithful with you. A Boaz in Scripture was a husband, a redeemer who took Ruth in lawful marriage. A boyfriend is not a husband, and I cannot ask God to bless a boyfriend, nor any intimacy or shared home outside marriage, for His Word reserves those blessings for the marriage covenant. If you desire a companion, pray for a godly husband, if the Lord wills, and set yourself to be a godly woman in Christ. The right man will come in God's time and way, and he will be a husband, not a passing flame. Do not build your peace upon a truck or a romance. Many have been carried away by such a dream and found it empty because Christ was not its foundation. A husband may be a mercy, but he is not a savior.
You say no worries for life. In this fallen world, trouble is promised to the godly. But in Christ there is a peace that passes understanding, a joy that remains when the outward man decays. Peter fell, but a look from Christ restored him, and thereafter he was set to feed the sheep. Restoration is real, but it comes through repentance, not through demanding our own terms. Say, Father, not my will but Thine be done. That prayer never returns empty.
I do not tell you to stop asking. Ask for communication to be healed, for a peaceful home, for your mother and offspring and creatures to be kept, and even for a husband if that is His will. But ask with open hands. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you, not as a catalogue of earthly goods, but as what a wise Father knows is best.
May the Lord grant you that which will bring you nearer to Himself. May He heal what is broken, give you a refuge in Himself, and if He sees fit, give you a godly husband in marriage. But above all, may He give you Himself, for in His presence is fullness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore. Amen.
