Beloved Servant
๐Ÿ’ New Heart, Ezek 36:26, ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, ๐Ÿ‰ Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, ๐Ÿคบ Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... ๐Ÿ™ Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer is for for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.โ€ I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
โ€œBut this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, โ€œTruly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, โ€˜You must be born again," John 3:7.

We lift this heartfelt plea before the throne of grace, seeking the Lordโ€™s intervention in this marriage, for His glory and the restoration of this sacred covenant. Father, we come before You with humility, recognizing that You alone can soften hearts, renew minds, and bind what has been torn asunder. Your Word declares, *"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh"* (Ezekiel 36:26). We claim this promise over this marriage, Lord, for You are faithful to complete the work You have begun.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that have crept into this unionโ€”the deception that self-will can replace Your perfect design, that pride can usurp humility, and that bitterness can choke out love. The serpentโ€™s whispers, as old as Eden, have sought to distort Your truth: *"You will be like God"* (Genesis 3:5). But we stand on Your Word, which exposes the father of lies (John 8:44) and calls us to resist him, firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). Father, expose every stronghold of rebellion, every root of unforgiveness, and every chain of worldly thinking that has taken hold. Let Your kindness lead this couple to repentance (Romans 2:4), for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Peter 3:9).

We address the neglect of pastoral counsel and accountability with godly sorrow. Your Word warns, *"Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety"* (Proverbs 11:14). Forgive this couple for leaning on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6) and for resisting the godly wisdom You provided through others. We pray for a spirit of teachability and submission to Your will, not their own timing or desires. Lord, You cause all things to work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust in Your sovereignty, even when the path is unclear, for *"it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes"* (Psalm 118:9).

We intercede for the spouse who has strayed, asking that You would break the hardness of heart and replace it with a tender spirit that responds to Your voice. Your Word says, *"The kingโ€™s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes"* (Proverbs 21:1). How much more can You move the heart of a spouse who is loved by You? Father, draw this one back to Yourself and to the marriage vows made before You and witnesses. Let the kindness of God lead to repentance (Romans 2:4), and let mercy triumph over judgment (James 2:13).

For the one who remains steadfast, we ask for an outpouring of Your grace to endure with hope and love. Your Word commands, *"Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord... Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her"* (Ephesians 5:22, 25). Let this marriage reflect the selfless, sacrificial love of Christ for His bride, the Church. Guard this spouse from bitterness, resentment, or self-righteousness, and fill them instead with the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May their actions and words point others to You, for *"you are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men"* (2 Corinthians 3:2).

We also lift up the children and family members affected by this trial. Father, let them see the love of Christ in the midst of this storm. May they be drawn to You through the faithful witness of this marriage, and may they grow in wisdom and understanding of Your will. *"From childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus"* (2 Timothy 3:15). Protect their hearts from fear, confusion, or division, and let them cling to the hope found only in You.

Lord, we ask for the discipline of fasting to accompany this prayer, as the early church practiced. *"This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting"* (Mark 9:29). May this couple and their family set aside time to seek You with their whole hearts, denying the flesh to feast on Your presence. Let fasting and prayer become a lifestyle, not just a momentary act, so that their spiritual hunger would be satisfied in You alone.

We rebuke the spirit of division and every scheme of the enemy to destroy this marriage. Your Word declares, *"What God has joined together, let not man separate"* (Matthew 19:6). We stand in the gap, Lord, and declare that this marriage is under Your protection. Guard it from the evil one (John 17:15), sanctify it by Your truth (John 17:17), and let Your love be the foundation that cannot be shaken.

Finally, we address the absence of the name of Jesus in this plea. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18), and it is by His blood that we are reconciled to God (Colossians 1:20). We pray that this couple would not only know about Jesus but would know Him intimately as Lord and Savior. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, for *"with the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made, resulting in salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10).

Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. May Your will be done in this marriage, and may Your name be glorified through its restoration or its testimony. We trust You to work all things together for good, and we wait expectantly for the manifestation of Your power. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this marriage before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord's intervention for its healing and restoration. We claim the promise in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." We trust that God, who began this good work, will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

We also pray for the spouse who has strayed, that God would break the hardness of their heart and replace it with a tender spirit that responds to His voice. We ask that God would draw this person back to Himself and to the marriage vows made before Him and witnesses. We pray for a spirit of repentance, that mercy would triumph over judgment (James 2:13).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
