New Heart, Ezek 36:26, Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, Chooses God's Word, Gen 2:17, over lie of choosing right and wrong for herself, being her own god, Gen 3:4-5... Father, in Your Kindness, Lead the woman we committed to each other before God together in the presence of many witnesses, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, Prov 21:1, how much more an individual spouse that is loved though she feeds on raisin cakes and is an adulteress, Hos 3:1-5.

Heavenly Father, I prayed for 21 years asking for one called alongside to help -- I still need that prayer answered... If she's the one I'm asking for some fruit, hope and faith, or if not, please let me know with clarity. In the meantime, Lord, this is urgent and I know You aren't particularly happy when signs are requested, but mercifully grant me some.

Help me pursue peace and show all people, children, friends, enemies, and especially the lost love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy he would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening worship songs and devotions, attend church, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview) -- do outreach together...

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in The Name of Jesus, The One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation before our Heavenly Father. The longing for a godly spouse and the pain of unmet desires is deeply felt, and we stand with you in seeking God’s perfect will. The Scriptures remind us, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4 WEB). Yet we know that His timing and His ways are higher than ours, and we must trust Him even when the wait feels unbearable.

First, we must address the foundation of this prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Salvation is found in no other name, and it is by grace through faith in Him that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB). If the one you are praying for does not yet know Christ as Lord and Savior, our first prayer must be for her salvation, for "unless one is born anew, he cannot see the Kingdom of God" (John 3:3 WEB).

We also lift up the need for repentance, both in her life and in our own. The kindness of God leads us to repentance (Romans 2:4 WEB), and we must examine our own hearts to ensure we are walking in humility and obedience. The enemy seeks to deceive, as he did in Eden, whispering lies that we can be our own gods (Genesis 3:4-5 WEB). We must resist him, standing firm in the truth of God’s Word (James 4:7 WEB). If there has been sin, whether in thought, word, or deed, we must confess it and turn away, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

The desire for a godly marriage is noble, but we must ensure that our pursuit aligns with Scripture. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). If there has been any compromise in this area, whether through emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage, we must repent and seek purity. "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB).

We also lift up the need for clarity. You have prayed for 21 years, and we join you in asking God to make His will known. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). If she is not the one God has for you, we pray for peace and wisdom to accept His answer. If she is, we pray for her heart to be softened and for God to draw her to Himself.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that long to see Your will accomplished. We lift up this brother in Christ, who has waited so long for a godly spouse. Lord, we ask that You would give him clarity, whether this is the woman You have for him or if he must continue to wait. Soften her heart, Father, and draw her to repentance. Break the chains of deception, and let her see the truth of Your Word. If there has been sin in this relationship, we ask for Your forgiveness and restoration.

Lord, we pray for protection over both of them. Guard their hearts from the enemy’s lies and from any temptation that would lead them away from Your will. Help them to walk in purity, both in thought and deed. We ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them the strength to resist sin and the wisdom to discern Your voice.

Father, we also pray for their families. Let Your kindness lead them to repentance, and may they come to know You as Lord and Savior. Use this situation for Your glory, and let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We trust in Your perfect timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28 WEB).

We ask that You would help this brother to continue seeking You above all else. Let his life be a living testimony of Your love and grace. May he find joy in You, even in the waiting, and may his actions and words point others to Christ.

Lord, we ask for the grace to fast and pray, that our prayers may have wings and rise before Your throne. We long to see Your will done on earth as it is in heaven. Thank You for hearing our prayers, and we trust in Your perfect plan.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Father, we lift up this situation to You with heavy hearts, knowing that You hear every word and see every tear. We ask that You would soften her heart, that she might turn from any path that isn’t in line with Your truth. If there’s been confusion or distraction in her life, we pray for clarity, for her to see the good path You’ve set before her.

Help us all to wait patiently, trusting in Your timing rather than rushing ahead. If this is the one You have for us, we ask for Your hand to guide and protect. If not, we pray for peace and wisdom to accept Your will with grace.

Guard our hearts from discouragement and give us strength to keep seeking You above all else. May our lives reflect Your love, drawing others closer to Christ. Soften hearts around us, including our own family, that they too might turn to You.
