๐Ÿ’ New Heart, Ezek 36:26, ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, ๐Ÿ‰ Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, ๐Ÿคบ Chooses God's Word and purpose of existence, Gen 2:17-18, over the unbelief initiated in the first words of the serpent of "has God really said," Gen 3:2, believing that wicked accursed creature's first of countless lies, that disobedience would not cause death, whereas the wages of sin is certainly death, choosing right and wrong for herself, being her own (or we being our own) god, Gen 3:4-5...

๐Ÿ™ Father, thank You for Your unmerited Kindness toward mankind, Tit 3:4-5. We ask the same kindness would lead the woman we committed to before God together in the presence of many witnesses, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, Prov 21:1, how much more an individual spouse that is loved though she feeds on raisin cakes and is an adulteress, Hos 3:1-5.

Heavenly Father, I prayed for ### years asking for one called alongside to help -- I still need that prayer answered... If she's the one I'm asking for some fruit, hope and faith, or if not, please let me know with clarity. In the meantime, Lord, this is urgent and I know You aren't particularly happy when signs are requested, but mercifully grant me some.

Help us pursue peace with all humans, and show all people, children, friends, enemies, and especially the lost love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy he would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.โ€ I still aspire to do morning and early evening worship songs and devotions, attend church, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview) -- do outreach together...

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in The Name of Jesus, The One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
โ€œBut this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, โ€œTruly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, โ€˜You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with fervent prayer and deep concern. The cry for a new heart, as echoed in Ezekiel 36:26, is a plea we join in wholeheartedly: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." This transformation is only possible through the mercy and grace of God, as Titus 3:5-6 reminds us: "Not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior."

Yet we must address the spiritual battle raging here, for the enemy, the father of lies (John 8:44), seeks to deceive and destroy. The request reveals a heart entangled in the same deception that began in Eden, when the serpent whispered, "Has God really said?" (Genesis 3:1) and promised, "You will not surely die" (Genesis 3:4). This lie, that we can define good and evil for ourselves, that we can be our own gods, is the root of all sin. The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), and no amount of human effort can undo its curse. Only the blood of Jesus, shed for the remission of sins, can break its power.

We rebuke the spirit of unbelief and hardness of heart that resists the truth of Godโ€™s Word. The plea for signs and clarity, while understandable, must not overshadow the greater need: repentance and surrender to Christ. Jesus Himself warned against seeking signs as a condition for faith (Matthew 12:39). Instead, we are called to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). The Lord is not slow concerning His promises (2 Peter 3:9), but He works according to His perfect will and timing. We must trust Him, even when the path is unclear.

The request speaks of a marriage in distress, and we grieve over the brokenness described. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect Christโ€™s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). When a spouse strays, it is a grievous sin, not only against the marriage but against God Himself. Hosea 3:1-5 speaks of Godโ€™s love for His unfaithful people, yet it also calls them to repentance. We pray for this woman to turn from any adultery or unfaithfulness, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and offers forgiveness to all who repent.

We also address the urgency in the request for clarity about this marriage. While the desire for a godly spouse is noble, we must caution against placing our hope in a person rather than in Christ. Psalm 118:8 declares, "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust in man." If this marriage is not Godโ€™s will, we pray for the strength to accept His plan, even if it means letting go. If it is His will, we pray for restoration, but only on His terms, not ours.

The mention of fasting and prayer is commendable, for these are powerful weapons in spiritual warfare. Jesus Himself said that some battles can only be won through prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). We join in this fast, seeking the Lordโ€™s intervention with humility and perseverance. Yet we must also examine our own hearts, have we neglected godly counsel? Have we allowed bitterness or unforgiveness to take root? The Lord calls us to pursue peace with all people (Hebrews 12:14) and to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13).

We also lift up the family members involved, praying that the Lord would raise up witnesses to speak truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). The enemy seeks to isolate and deceive, but Godโ€™s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). We pray that every lie of the enemy, whether it be the lie of self-sufficiency, the lie of unrepentance, or the lie that Godโ€™s Word is not sufficient, would be shattered by the truth of Scripture.

Most critically, we must address the absence of Christโ€™s name in the initial plea. There is no salvation apart from Jesus (Acts 4:12), and no access to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). The request speaks of Godโ€™s kindness leading to repentance (Romans 2:4), but repentance is only possible through faith in Christ. We pray that this woman, and all involved, would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken over the sin and brokenness in this situation. We thank You for Your mercy, which is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and for Your promise to give us new hearts (Ezekiel 36:26). Lord, we ask that You would soften the heart of this woman, that she would turn from the lies of the enemy and embrace the truth of Your Word. Break the chains of unbelief, hardness, and unrepentance, and draw her to Yourself.

We pray for this marriage, Lord. If it is Your will for it to be restored, we ask that You would heal the wounds, mend the brokenness, and bring both spouses to a place of repentance and renewal. If it is not Your will, give clarity and strength to accept Your plan. Help this man to trust You completely, even when the path is unclear. Guard his heart from bitterness, unforgiveness, or idolatry, whether of this marriage or of his own desires.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception that seeks to blind this family to the truth. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your Church (Matthew 16:18). We pray that every lie of the enemy would be exposed and that Your Word would take root in their hearts.

Lord, we lift up the family members involved. Raise up godly witnesses who will speak truth in love. Give them courage to stand firm in the faith and to extend grace and mercy, even in the face of rejection. We pray for the children, that they would see Christ in their parents and come to know You as their Savior.

Above all, Lord, we pray for salvation. We ask that this woman, and all who are lost, would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and draw them to the foot of the cross. May they confess Jesus as Lord and be born again (John 3:3), receiving the gift of eternal life.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. Strengthen us to wait on You, to trust in You, and to walk in obedience to Your Word. We pray for revival in this family, in this marriage, and in every heart touched by this prayer. In Jesusโ€™ name, Amen.

Oh, how our hearts ache alongside yours as we lift this burden before the Lord. We know the weight of waiting on Godโ€™s timing, especially when the storm around us feels so overwhelming. Itโ€™s so hard when our prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling, isnโ€™t it? But we have to hold on to the truth that Godโ€™s ways arenโ€™t our ways, and His timing is perfect, even when it doesnโ€™t look like it from where we stand.

Weโ€™re praying that your faith would be strengthened, that youโ€™d feel the Lordโ€™s presence close in this trial. Weโ€™re asking for wisdom too, for you, for your family, and for this situation that feels so tangled up. And mostly, weโ€™re begging God to draw hearts back to Him, to soften any hardness and replace it with the tender, obedient heart He promises. Youโ€™re not alone in this, and neither is she, even if it feels that way right now.

Lord, we ask for Your mercy to pour out in this relationship. Soften hearts, open eyes to see Your truth, and lead this family back to the healing and restoration only You can provide. Amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
