We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this tender and weighty season. Your request has been laid upon our hearts, and we have continued to lift you, your spouse, and your family before the throne of grace, trusting in the Father’s kindness to lead each of you to repentance—just as His Word declares in Romans 2:4 and 2 Peter 3:9. We have prayed for softened hearts, for protection from the enemy’s lies, and for the truth of Scripture to take root and bear fruit in every life touched by this trial.
We have asked the Lord to renew your strength as you wait, to deepen your trust in His timing, and to fill you with the peace that comes from resting in His sovereignty—knowing that He works all things after the counsel of His will, not ours (Ephesians 1:11). We have interceded for your children, that their young hearts would be drawn to Jesus through both your words and your witness, and that the Holy Spirit would write God’s law upon their minds and hearts, as promised in Jeremiah 31:33.
We have also prayed for your spouse, that the Lord would hedge her in with His love, shield her from deception, and grant her a spirit of humility to receive the truth of the Gospel. May she come to know the kindness of God that leads to repentance, and may she experience the freedom that comes from being born again by the power of the Holy Spirit (John 3:7). We have asked the Father to raise up godly influences in her life—voices that will speak truth in love and point her back to the cross.
As you continue to seek the Lord through His Word, through prayer, and through fasting, we stand with you, believing that He is at work even when the path is unclear. We have prayed that your home would be a place where Christ’s love is publicly portrayed (Galatians 3:1), where Scripture corrects, teaches, and trains in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17), and where joy, laughter, and faith flourish as you fix your eyes on Him.
If the Lord has moved in ways you can now see, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report—so that we may rejoice with you and give Him all the glory.
