Beloved Servant
πŸ’ New Heart, Ezek 36:26, πŸ™‡πŸ» Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, πŸ‰ Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🀺 Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... πŸ™ Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Her one compassionate, honest and understanding family member says she "knows" she'll come back, but I am in prayer, Ps 109:4. Forgive her for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing... It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
β€œBut this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, β€œTruly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, β€˜You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that has been joined together before God and witnesses. Father, we acknowledge that You alone can soften hearts and restore what has been broken. Your Word declares, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 36:26 WEB). We claim this promise over this marriage, asking that You perform this miraculous work in both spouses.

The enemy has been at work, whispering lies as he did in Eden, seeking to distort Your truth and turn hearts away from Your design. We rebuke the spirit of deception that would convince either spouse they can be their own god, choosing their own path over Your perfect will (Genesis 3:5). We resist the devil, standing firm in faith, knowing he must flee when confronted with Your authority (James 4:7 WEB). The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We declare that abundant life over this marriage.

We are grieved by the neglect of pastoral counsel and the hardening of heart that has occurred. Yet we remember that "the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). We pray that the kindness of God would lead this wandering spouse to repentance (Romans 2:4 WEB), just as it has led us all at various times. Father, we ask that You would cause all things to work together for good according to Your will (Romans 8:28 WEB), not our own timing or desires.

We lift up the children in this family, asking that You would draw their young hearts to Jesus. May they see the truth of Your Word lived out in their parents' lives, that from infancy they would know the Holy Scriptures which are able to make them wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15 WEB). Protect their minds and hearts from the enemy's lies, and let them grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord.

We pray for this husband who stands faithful in prayer, asking that You would strengthen him in his spiritual disciplines. May his morning and evening devotions become a source of refreshment and guidance. We ask that You would add the grace of fasting to his prayers, that his petitions might ascend before You with greater power (Matthew 17:21 WEB). May the entertainment he chooses build up his faith rather than tear it down, that all things might be done to Your glory.

Father, we ask that You would soften the heart of this wife, removing any hardness that has taken root. Protect her from the evil one and from her own fleshly desires that war against her soul (1 Peter 2:11 WEB). May she come to understand that "all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16 WEB). Let Your Word take root in her heart and bear fruit in her life.

We pray for this marriage to be a living epistle, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2 WEB). May the love of Christ be publicly portrayed in how they treat one another and those around them. We ask that You would sanctify them by Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17 WEB). Do not take them out of the world, but keep them from the evil one (John 17:15 WEB).

We claim the promise of Jeremiah 31:33 WEB over this marriage: "But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Yahweh: I will put my law in their inward parts, and I will write it in their heart. I will be their God, and they shall be my people." May this covenant be fulfilled in their lives.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is only through His blood that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is only by His power that lives and marriages are transformed. We thank You for the gift of salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, and we ask that You would complete the good work You have begun in this family (Philippians 1:6 WEB). To You be all glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. Amen.

Dear friend,

We join you in lifting up this marriage before the Lord, trusting in His unfailing love and mercy. We claim His promise in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." We ask that He would perform this miraculous work in both spouses, softening their hearts and restoring what has been broken.

We also pray for protection against the enemy's lies, that neither spouse would be deceived into thinking they can be their own god, choosing their own path over God's perfect will. We stand firm in faith, knowing that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
