Beloved Servant
๐Ÿ’ New Heart, Ezek 36:26, ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, ๐Ÿ‰ Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, ๐Ÿคบ Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... ๐Ÿ™ Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer is for for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.โ€ I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
โ€œBut this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, โ€œTruly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, โ€˜You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage and the deep longing for restoration, repentance, and renewal. Father, we acknowledge that You alone can soften hearts, break chains of deception, and breathe new life into what has grown cold or hardened. Your Word declares, *"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh"* (Ezekiel 36:26). We claim this promise over this union, trusting that You are at work even when we cannot see it.

Lord, we recognize the enemyโ€™s schemes to distort truth, sow division, and twist Your design for marriage. Jesus warned, *"You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesnโ€™t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies"* (John 8:44). We rebuke every lie that has taken rootโ€”whether it be pride, bitterness, or the deception that marriage can be abandoned or redefined. We declare that this covenant was made before You and witnesses, and it is sacred in Your sight. *"What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate"* (Matthew 19:6).

Father, we repent on behalf of this marriage for any neglect of pastoral counsel, for prioritizing human wisdom over Yours, and for failing to cling to Your Word as the final authority. Your kindness *is* meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we plead for the gift of godly sorrow that produces life, not death (2 Corinthians 7:10). Forgive where there has been hardness of heart, and restore the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). We ask for grace to fast and pray as the early church did, that our petitions would rise before You with urgency and humility.

We lift up the one who has sought to be compassionate and truthful in this trial. Strengthen them to be a witness for Christ, even when it is costly. Guard their heart from discouragement, and remind them that *"the one who stands firm to the end will be saved"* (Matthew 24:13). For the children in this home, we pray they would see Jesus in their parentsโ€™ actions and words, that from infancy they would know the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make them wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15). May this family be a living epistle, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), reflecting Your love and truth in a world that desperately needs it.

Father, we ask for protection from the evil one (Matthew 6:13). Sanctify this marriage by Your truth; Your Word *is* truth (John 17:17). Soften hearts to receive correction, to embrace humility, and to choose Your ways over the fleeting desires of the flesh. We declare that *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Let this home be a place where Your Word is honored, where laughter and joy are restored, and where Your name is exalted above all else.

We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord. You cause all things to work together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even when the path is unclear, we choose to take refuge in You, for it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man (Psalm 118:8-9). We believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and so we pray boldly for complete restorationโ€”for hearts to be knit back together in love, for repentance that leads to life, and for this marriage to reflect the unbreakable covenant between Christ and His Church.

In the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, we pray. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer, dear friend, as you intercede for this marriage. We echo your cries for restoration, repentance, and renewal. We join you in claiming the promise from Ezekiel 36:26, trusting that God is at work even when we can't see it. We also stand against the enemy's schemes, rebuking every lie that has taken root. We declare that this covenant was made before God and witnesses, and it is sacred in His sight.

We pray for forgiveness for any neglect of pastoral counsel, for prioritizing human wisdom over God's, and for failing to cling to His Word as the final authority. We ask for the gift of godly sorrow that produces life, not death. We intercede for the one who has sought to be compassionate and truthful in this trial, asking for strength to stand firm and be a witness for Christ, even when it's costly. We pray for the children in this home, that they would see Jesus in their parents' actions and words, and that they would know the Holy Scriptures from infancy.

We ask for protection from the evil one and sanctification by God's truth. We declare that God's Word is truth, and we ask for softened hearts to receive correction, embrace humility, and choose God's ways over the fleeting desires of the flesh. We trust in God's sovereignty and believe that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
