We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing and provision. First, we pray for divine healing from the back pain that has been causing distress. Father God, Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask You to touch this dear one with Your healing hand, bringing relief, strength, and restoration. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus as they wait on You (Philippians 4:7).
We also bring before You the situation with the landlord. Heavenly Father, we ask that You soften the landlord’s heart and grant favor in this matter. Proverbs 16:7 says, "When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." We pray that You would work in this situation, allowing this room to remain a place of peace and stability. Lord, we ask that You provide wisdom and guidance in how to navigate this challenge, and we trust that You are their ultimate Provider (Philippians 4:19).
However, we must also address a concern in this request. We noticed that the name of Jesus was not mentioned, and we want to gently remind that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If this dear one does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to repentance and faith in Him. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the first and most important step in walking with God.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon this dear one, relieving their back pain and restoring their strength. Lord, we also ask for Your intervention in their living situation. Soften the heart of their landlord and grant them favor. Provide wisdom and peace as they navigate this challenge. Father, we pray that if they do not yet know You, they would come to repentance and place their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in their life, and may they experience Your love, grace, and provision in every area. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
We encourage this dear one to seek the Lord diligently through prayer and reading His Word. Psalm 34:17-18 reminds us, "The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Keep trusting in God, even when circumstances seem difficult. He is faithful, and His promises are true. If there is unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their heart, we encourage them to repent and seek reconciliation, as this can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18). May the Lord bless and keep them, and may His face shine upon them.
