We join with you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for asking in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the throne of grace.
We know how heavy a parent's heart can be when a child is weary in mind and body and we hear your longing to hear his laughter again. Our God sees him and loves him deeply, and He hears your prayer. We are reminded in Psalm 103:2-3 to praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17 He says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.
We pray that the Lord will touch your son and renew his strength. Scripture tells us in Isaiah 40:29 that He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength, and in Matthew 11:28 Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We ask God to lift this constant tiredness from him, to restore his energy, to bring healing to his mind and body, and to fill him with peace and joy so that he may again do the things he loves to do with a light heart.

We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon him, to remove all weariness and infirmity, and to restore his health and vigor according to Your will. Renew his mind, give him restful sleep and refreshed mornings, and restore his strength like the eagle's as promised in Isaiah 40:31. Fill his heart with Your peace and his mouth with laughter again, that his family may rejoice in Your goodness. We trust You as our great Physician and our comforter, and we thank You for hearing our prayer. Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, asking in the name of Jesus for His tender mercy upon him.
We know what it is to carry a burden of love for a child and to long to hear his laughter again. The Lord who engraved His people on the palms of His hands has compassion upon His children, and having restored the soul a hundred times, He still restores it. All our healing lies in Christ. Christ is the Physician, and Christ is the Medicine, too. There is but one sacred Fountain to wash in and be made whole, and one great Physician who lays His hands upon men and they are restored, and that Physician is near to you now.
We pray that the Lord will bring healing beneath His wings and joy in the light of His countenance. He restores our entire manhood, and every grace drinks in new life from communion with Him. We ask Him to touch your son in mind and body, to lift the weariness that presses upon him, to quicken him by His Word and restore unto him the joy of His salvation. The very leaves of the tree of life are for healing, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature new. May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon him with healing in His wings.
It is pleasant to think about joy, but to be filled with joy and peace through believing is a far more satisfying thing. True joy holds court within its own metropolis and does not depend on outward strength, for he that has joy in the Lord possesses the quintessence of happiness. We pray that this joy, which is the fruit of the Spirit from the root of trust in God, may return to your home, that your son may be strengthened to do the things he loves to do, and that his laughter may again be heard as singing which is the natural language of joy.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, but the Lord cares both for body and soul, and His healing power works suddenly and surely. The way to be restored is not to try to restore ourselves, but to abide in Him, for to abide in Him is peace and joy and holiness.
May the Lord hear your cry, grant you to see His healing hand upon your son, and keep you in His peace as you wait upon Him. We commend you both to Him who is able to keep you and to restore you, trusting that in His good time He will give you cause to shout for joy.
