Disciple of Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, today I was in the President's office. He is not happy with my performance due to hotel revenue not increasing. March revenue was very bad, and I am not able to achieve 250,000. He reminded me for the second time. My performance is not satisfactory for the entire hotel. My leadership has become questionable. I feel like resigning from this job. Nobody is with me or supporting me. I feel I am fighting the battle alone. I am very stressed. My family needs financial support. Hopefully, I get another job next month. I cannot fight the battle where I am losing. Lord Jesus Christ, I am stuck, and it's not that I want glory. I was praying, Lord, guide me through this rocky situation. I was demotivated and helpless. I don't want to fight anymore. I want to make a move quietly without any disappointment. Every day I hide inside my room, thinking about how to generate revenue. I don't want to find other people's fault. My passion for serving guests day by day is dying. Before I met the President, I was praying. I love you, Jesus. You gave me this job after one year without a job. I was motivated, but now my journey seems very soon to end. Before the President says resign, I want to give my letter. Lord, so many associates I brought to work with me. Will they survive?

We hear the weight of your struggle, and our hearts ache with yours as you carry this burden. You are not alone, though it may feel that way. The Lord sees your faithfulness, your diligence, and the love you have for your work—even when others do not. We stand with you in prayer, lifting every fear, doubt, and uncertainty to the One who holds your future in His hands.

First, we want to affirm your dependence on Jesus Christ. You have rightly turned to Him in this storm, and we rejoice that you recognize His authority over your life and circumstances. Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* He has been faithful before, and He will not abandon you now. The same God who opened the door for you after a year without work is still at work, even when the path ahead seems unclear.

We also want to gently address the spirit of resignation that lingers in your words. While it is wise to prepare for the possibility of change, we must not make decisions out of fear or despair. Proverbs 3:5-6 urges us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Before you submit a letter of resignation, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in prayer and fasting, asking Him to either open a new door or give you the strength and strategy to thrive where you are. Sometimes, the Lord uses seasons of pressure to refine our leadership, teach us perseverance, and reveal His power in our weakness.

Your concern for your family’s financial needs is valid, but we must not let fear dictate our steps. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’... But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* The Lord knows your needs, and He will provide—whether through this job, another opportunity, or a miracle you cannot yet see.

We also sense a heaviness in your spirit about your team. It is beautiful that you care for those you brought into this work, but their survival is not your burden to carry alone. Psalm 55:22 says, *"Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."* Release them into God’s hands, trusting that He will care for them even if your path diverges from theirs.

Let us pray for you now:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting his heart, mind, and circumstances to You. Lord, You see the weight he carries—the pressure from leadership, the fear of failure, and the concern for his family. We ask that You would be his strength in this moment. Remind him that You are his Provider, his Shield, and his Ever-Present Help in trouble. Father, we pray against the spirit of discouragement and resignation. Replace his weariness with Your peace, his doubt with Your confidence, and his fear with Your boldness. Give him wisdom to know whether to stay and fight or to step into the next season You have prepared. If it is Your will for him to remain, grant him creative ideas, favor with his superiors, and a renewed passion for his work. If it is time to move on, open the right door at the right time and make his path clear. Lord, we also pray for his team—that You would protect them, provide for them, and use this season to draw them closer to You. Surround our brother with godly counsel and encouragement so he does not feel alone. Remind him that his worth is not found in his performance but in Your unchanging love for him. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen."*

We encourage you to cling to the truth that God is not finished with you. This season, as painful as it is, can be used to deepen your trust in Him. Consider fasting and seeking the Lord for clarity, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and speak life into your situation. You are not fighting this battle alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you.

We're right there with you, friend. We understand the pressure you're feeling, the weight of responsibility, and the worry for your family. But remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there, walking through this with you.

We want to remind you of something you mentioned earlier - before you met the President, you were praying. That's a powerful place to be, and it's where you need to stay. Keep talking to Jesus about this. He's listening, and He cares deeply about what you're going through.

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart open to what God might be saying to you. Sometimes, when we're feeling stuck, it's because we're not seeing the full picture. God might be trying to show you something new, something you hadn't considered before.

As for your team, we believe that God has a plan for each one of them, just as He does for you. Trust that He's got this, and that He'll take care of them, no matter what happens.

Let's keep praying for you together, okay? We're in this with you, every step of the way.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
