We hear your heart, dear sister, and we stand with you in prayer as you seek the Lord’s provision for your family. The weight of caring for your children while longing for meaningful work is not lost on us, and we know the Lord sees every detail of your need. We lift your situation to Him, trusting that He who clothes the lilies of the field and feeds the sparrows will surely provide for you and your precious daughter in His perfect timing.
The Word of God reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord first in all things, trusting that He will open the right door for you. Remote work can be a blessing, but we also know that God’s provision may come in ways we do not expect. Let us not limit Him by our own expectations, but instead, surrender your plans to His will.
We also want to gently remind you that while the desire to protect and care for your daughter is beautiful and godly, we must guard our hearts against fear or anxiety taking root. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that you would experience this peace as you wait on the Lord, knowing that He is your Provider and your Protector.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Renu and her family to You. Lord, You see her heart and her desire to care for her children while also providing for them. We ask that You would open the right door for her, a job that aligns with her skills, her need for flexibility, and Your perfect will. Father, we know that You are not a God of scarcity but of abundance, and we trust that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Remove any fear or doubt from her heart, and fill her with Your peace as she waits on You.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment as she seeks employment. Guide her steps, lead her to the right opportunities, and give her favor with those who are in a position to hire her. If there are areas where she needs to grow or adjust her expectations, we ask that You reveal those to her in love. Help her to trust in Your timing, even when it feels slow or uncertain.
Father, we also lift up her daughter to You. You have entrusted this precious child to her care, and we know that You love her even more than Renu does. Provide the resources, support, and community that Renu needs to raise her daughter in a way that honors You. Surround them both with godly influences and protect them from harm.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of discouragement or despair that may be trying to take hold of her heart. We declare that she is not forgotten, she is not abandoned, and she is not without hope. You are her Shepherd, and she shall not want. We speak provision, opportunity, and breakthrough over her life in Jesus’ name.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust that You are already at work on her behalf, and we choose to praise You in advance for the victory. May Your will be done in her life, and may she continue to grow in faith and dependence on You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Sister, we encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God. Continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word, and do not grow weary in doing good. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." The Lord is faithful, and He will not forsake you. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good. If there are any areas where you feel led to step out in faith, whether it’s applying for a role you’re unsure about or exploring new skills, we encourage you to do so, trusting that the Lord will guide your steps.
You are not alone in this journey. We are standing with you in prayer, and we believe that the Lord has great things in store for you and your family. May He bless you abundantly as you seek Him first.
