We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to bring your mother and your brother before the Lord since you shared your request.
We have been praying for your mother and her miraculous recovery after she was taken to the hospital and suddenly could not walk with a possible stroke. We ask the Lord to lay His healing hand upon her, to restore her strength, to guide the doctors who are caring for her and to lead you and your brother to the right place for her to recover. We remember the promise in Psalm 147:3 that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
We have also been praying for your brother as he carries this heavy responsibility. We pray that God would grant him relaxed and deep sleep today, renewed energy, a sharp mind, optimism and wisdom to make wise decisions on behalf of your mother. We also lift up your relationship with your brother before the Lord. We pray that God would soften hearts, help him to release grudges, replace insults with kindness and forgiveness, and bring peace and unity between you where there have been constant disagreements. We pray that the Lord would also provide a way for you to be with your mother in the hospital even though you do not have a car, and that He would guard your mother with His peace that passes understanding as promised in Philippians 4:7.
