We have continued to lift you up concerning what you shared about your mother and about your ex. We have been praying for your protection and peace after the confusion and harm that came when your ex reappeared after refusing to speak to you, and after the healing you had experienced from that psychologically abusive relationship. We thank God that you have taken the step of cutting off contact and we are asking Him to give you strength to maintain healthy boundaries. We have also been praying for your mother. We understand your concern that while she professes faith in Christ, multiple people have noticed something spiritually wrong and that the enemy often uses her to harm you and others, and that this has happened before especially in connection with this relationship. We are praying that God would surround you with His peace, guard your heart and mind in Christ, and break every assignment of the enemy against you.
We are standing on the truth that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood as Eph 6:12 reminds us, and that when we submit to God and resist the devil he will flee from us according to James 4:7. We have asked the Lord to bring healing to the places where you were wounded by psychological abuse, to quiet the confusion, to cover you under His wings, and to work in your mothers heart to bring conviction, deliverance and restoration where it is needed.
