Dhitlor

Humble Servant of All
My mother is severely demonized (I'm not just saying this to say it or being superstitious, other people have noticed it and pointed it out as well; her family has a history of being involved in false teachings and other things that could have caused this) which has also led to severe emotional and behavioral problems which cause problems in her relationships and life. Because of this, she is very easily used by the enemy. Ever since I started my job, the enemy has been using her to make my life extremely stressful from her behaving in ways that added to any stress I was already feeling from work or doing disruptive things while I work and not seeming to see the problems with her behavior (I work from home). I've been able to ignore this behavior in recent days (and maybe it hasn't been so bad recently) but just now she woke me up out of my sleep for no reason when I have to get up for work in an hour or so. I already struggle with feeling tired and rest broken at work. I don't need anything else making my sleep schedule more difficult. She woke me up for a ridiculous reason and I politely explained to her why she should not do this and she acted like she didn't understand. I know the enemy is attacking me through her right now. Thank you.

We hear your deep distress and the spiritual battle you are enduring, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this situation before the throne of God. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every demonic influence over your mother in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Your mother’s behavior and the oppression you describe are not of God, and we declare that every chain of darkness over her life and yours is broken by the power of the blood of Jesus.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare at hand. The Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Your mother’s actions, though deeply hurtful, are being influenced by forces that seek to disrupt your peace, your work, and your rest. We take authority over these spirits in Jesus’ name, commanding them to flee and release their hold on her. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7), and we claim that promise over you now.

We also recognize the generational strongholds that may be at play here. The Bible speaks of the sins of the fathers being visited on the children to the third and fourth generation (Exodus 20:5), but it also declares that the blood of Jesus breaks every curse (Galatians 3:13). We pray that every ungodly tie, every false teaching, and every open door to the enemy in your family line would be sealed shut by the power of the cross. We declare that your mother is not beyond the reach of God’s grace and mercy. Even now, the Holy Spirit is at work, drawing her to repentance and truth (John 6:44). We pray for her salvation if she does not yet know Jesus as Lord, and for her deliverance if she does.

Your rest and peace are under attack, and we must stand firm in guarding them. Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We pray that you would find your rest in Him alone, not in the circumstances around you. The enemy seeks to wear you down through exhaustion, but God promises to renew your strength as you wait on Him (Isaiah 40:31). We declare that your sleep will be sweet (Proverbs 3:24) and that the Lord will sustain you even when others seek to disrupt your peace.

We also encourage you to set godly boundaries in love. Jesus Himself withdrew from those who sought to harm Him or distract Him from His purpose (Luke 4:30). It is not ungodly to protect your time, your rest, and your calling. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” We pray that the Lord would give you wisdom in how to respond to your mother’s actions without enabling the enemy’s schemes. Speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), but do not allow yourself to be drawn into fruitless arguments or manipulations.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear brother/sister to You, who is enduring a spiritual battle that is manifesting through their mother. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of darkness over this family. We rebuke every demonic influence in Jesus’ name, commanding every spirit of confusion, disruption, and oppression to flee. We declare that Your light will shine into this darkness, and that Your peace will reign in this home.

Father, we pray for this mother. We ask that You would open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and the deception she has been under. Soften her heart, Lord, and draw her to repentance. If she does not know You as Savior, we pray that she would come to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ. If she does know You, we ask that You would deliver her from every stronghold and fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Let her be a vessel of Your love and peace, not a tool of the enemy.

We pray for our brother/sister, Lord. Strengthen them in this trial. Give them wisdom in how to respond to their mother with grace and truth. Protect their rest, their peace, and their calling. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap a harvest if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your power to deliver, to heal, and to restore. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the circumstances seem overwhelming. The enemy may attack, but he cannot prevail against the power of God. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you in this battle. The Lord is your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

We're right there with you, feeling your frustration and exhaustion. It's tough when those we love are hurting, and it's even harder when they're being used by the enemy to cause disruption. We've been praying fervently for you and your mom, and we want to encourage you with some practical steps you can take while we continue to intercede for you.

Firstly, remember that you can't control your mom's actions, but you can control how you respond. It's okay to set boundaries to protect your peace and rest. Jesus often withdrew from crowds to spend time with His Father, and He even told His disciples, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest" (Mark 6:31). So, it's not selfish to prioritize your rest and well-being.

Here are a few things you can do:

1. **Communicate clearly and calmly**: Explain to your mom that her actions are affecting your work and rest. Be specific about what behaviors are problematic, and kindly but firmly ask her to stop. Use "I" statements to express how you feel, rather than blaming her (e.g., "I feel tired and stressed when..." instead of "You always...").

2. **Practice self-care**: Make sure you're taking care of your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. This includes getting enough sleep, eating well, exercising, and spending time in prayer and Bible study. When you're well-rested and nourished, you'll be better equipped to handle stress and make wise decisions.

3. **Seek support**: Reach out to trusted friends, family members, or a pastor for prayer and advice. You don't have to go through this alone. Also, consider speaking to a professional counselor who can provide strategies for dealing with difficult family dynamics.

4. **Trust God**: Even when it feels like things are spiraling out of control, remember that God is in charge. He sees your situation, and He cares. He promises to give you rest (Matthew 11:28-29), so cast your anxieties on Him, knowing that He is faithful to uphold you (1 Peter 5:7).

We'll keep praying for you and your mom, that she would be set free from any demonic influence and that you would both experience God's peace and healing. Keep holding on to hope, and remember that God is fighting for you (2 Chronicles 20:15).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
