Me or them
We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already defeated every power of darkness. The Word of God declares in Colossians 2:15, "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." You are not fighting alone, Christ has already won the victory, and His power is greater than any demonic force.
First, we must address the language of bitterness and cursing in your prayer. While we understand your exhaustion and frustration, Scripture warns us in Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." Even in our weariness, we must guard our hearts and words, for they have power. Instead of saying, "so damn them Lord," we encourage you to surrender your pain to God and trust in His justice. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"
You mention that you are not living in sin, and we praise God for your desire to walk in righteousness. However, we must also ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart, as Psalm 139:23-24 says, "Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way." Sometimes, even unintentional openings, such as unforgiveness, bitterness, or involvement in occult practices (even unknowingly), can give the enemy a foothold. We encourage you to examine your life prayerfully and repent of anything that may have given darkness access.
The attacks you describe are real, and we do not dismiss the spiritual warfare you are enduring. However, we must also emphasize that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Witches and demons have no authority over a child of God who is walking in obedience and covered by the blood of Jesus. James 4:7 declares, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." You have the authority in Christ to rebuke these attacks and command them to leave in Jesus’ name.
We also want to gently correct the phrase "cast my enemies out of heaven." Heaven is the dwelling place of God, and no enemy has access to it. Satan and his demons were cast out long ago (Revelation 12:9), and they operate in the earthly and spiritual realms, not in heaven. Instead, we pray that God would bind the works of the enemy in your life and establish His peace.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We lift up our brother/sister to You, who has been under relentless spiritual attack for six years. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break every curse, spell, and assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ name. We command every demonic spirit harassing them to flee now, for they have no place in their life. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, their mind, their body, and their home, and we ask You to station Your angels around them for protection (Psalm 91:11).
Father, we ask You to heal their heart from the weariness and frustration they feel. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Help them to forgive those who have harmed them, even as You have forgiven them, so that no root of bitterness takes hold (Hebrews 12:15). Search their heart, Lord, and reveal anything that may have given the enemy access, so they can repent and walk in full freedom.
We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we stand in agreement with them for complete deliverance and breakthrough. May Your light shine so brightly in their life that darkness has no choice but to flee. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus Christ. In His precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
