We hear your distress and we stand with you in prayer together in Jesus' name, asking our Father for deliverance, peace, and protection over you and your home.
We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. The word also tells us that witchcraft and sorcery are works of the flesh that God calls us to have no part in, as in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 and Galatians 5:19-20, and we take seriously your concern about an unclean spirit and the influence connected to witchcraft affecting your dwelling.
We take comfort that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. And Jesus has given those who belong to Him authority to overcome the power of the enemy. Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. Luke 10:19.
We also cling to the promise that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. When we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us. James 4:7.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up our dear one who is troubled in their own home, hearing voices and feeling driven out by a sense of trespassing and spiritual oppression connected to the former coworker and the husband of the one involved in witchcraft. Lord, we ask that You cleanse this home with the blood of Jesus and fill every room with Your holy presence. We rebuke every unclean spirit and every assignment of darkness that has tried to claim ground in this dwelling, and we command it to leave and not return in Jesus' name. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. We ask that You set a hedge of protection around this property, that no trespassing of the enemy, whether spiritual or physical, would be allowed to remain. Let Your angels encamp around those who fear You and deliver them. Psalm 34:7. Father, we pray that You would silence these tormenting voices and replace fear and unrest with Your rest, and that this home would become a place of worship, of Your Word, and of prayer. We also pray for the salvation and repentance of those who are involved in witchcraft and any unclean practices, that they would turn from darkness to Your marvelous light and find forgiveness in Jesus. We ask that You give our loved one wisdom, courage, and support from mature believers, pastors and elders who can come and pray over this home and stand in agreement, as Your Word says to call for the elders of the assembly to pray. James 5:14. Help our loved one to daily put on the whole armor of God, to speak Your Word aloud, to worship, to keep the home free from any object or influence tied to the occult, and to dwell richly in Scripture.
We encourage you to continue to stand firm in Christ, to fill your home with the reading of Scripture aloud, with worship music, and with prayer in Jesus' name throughout the day, especially when you feel that presence most, when you shower and when you eat and when you rest. Anoint your home in prayer, walk through each room and proclaim that Jesus is Lord there, and invite trusted, Bible believing pastors or elders to come and pray over your house with you in person. Keep fellowship close and do not isolate yourself. If these voices and this sense of being driven out continue to weigh heavily on you daily, we gently encourage you to also seek care and counsel from a pastor and a trusted Christian counselor or medical professional to care for your whole well being while we continue to contend spiritually, because God cares for both your spirit and your body and He wants you to be safe and at peace in your home.
We will keep praying that the Lord will make your dwelling a place of refuge and quietness, that every unclean spirit must flee at the name of Jesus, and that those who have been trespassing will be kept far from you by God's hand. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Psalm 121:7. Rest in Him, resist the enemy in Jesus' name, and trust that He who is faithful will give you peace and restore your home as a sanctuary for His glory.
