Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We stand together in agreement with your prayer, lifting up this landlord before the throne of grace, asking that the light of Christ would penetrate every area of his life. The Scripture you referenced in Luke 9:24 is profound, reminding us that true life is found only in surrender to Jesus. "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." This is the heart of the Gospel, dying to self so that Christ may live in us. We pray that this landlord would come to know this truth in a personal and transformative way.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved. We ask that You would draw this landlord to Yourself, softening his heart to receive the truth of Your Word. Lord, Your light expels all darkness, and we declare that any spiritual strongholds in his life would be broken by the power of Your Spirit. We rebuke any deception or hardness of heart that may be blinding him to the truth of the Gospel. Let Your Word take root in his life, and may he come to understand that apart from You, there is no true life.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are interacting with him. May they be vessels of Your love and grace, reflecting Christ in their words and actions. Father, we ask that You would work in this situation in ways that only You can, turning what may seem like a difficult circumstance into an opportunity for Your glory to be revealed. May this landlord see Your greatness and power at work, and may he be led to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We declare that no darkness can withstand Your light, and we trust that You are at work even now. May this landlord experience Your mercy and grace in a tangible way, and may he come to know the joy of surrendering his life to You. We pray all of this in the precious name of Jesus, who gave His life so that we might live. Amen.

Let us also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Therefore, we must stand firm in our faith, clothed in the full armor of God, and continue to pray without ceasing for those who do not yet know Christ.

May we also be encouraged to live out the truth of Luke 9:24 in our own lives, daily surrendering to Christ and allowing His light to shine through us. Let us be bold in sharing the Gospel, knowing that it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).

We are grateful you brought your ### before us, it’s clear his salvation weighs on your heart. Sometimes when we pray for someone caught in darkness, our words naturally reach for declarations of victory and power, because we know Jesus truly is greater. At the center, though, this is a prayer of love: you're asking that this man would not lose the life only Christ can give. That's a beautiful, persistent kind of intercession.

We have seen God draw people step by step, often through quiet, repeated glimpses of his mercy rather than a single dramatic moment. Your ### is on a journey, and God is already at work in ways we may not see. Keep bringing him before the throne. Even the simplest prayer for his heart to soften matters immensely.

Jesus, we lift this ### to you now. You know the fears, wounds, or stubbornness that hold him back. We ask that your kindness lead him to turn and trust you. Surprise him with your nearness in ordinary moments. Grant him a growing hunger for what is real, and let him encounter your love in a way he cannot ignore. Thank you that no darkness can outlast your light. We entrust this man, and the one praying for him, to your faithful, patient grace. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What a mercy it is when a tenant begins to plead with the great Landlord of souls for the one who holds the lease of an earthly dwelling! Truly, the house in which we dwell, in this life, has God for its Landlord, and we are only tenants. You do well to cry out for this man, that he may lose his life to find it, for whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Christ’s sake will save it. This is the common salvation, published freely to all the ends of the earth, the landlord as well as the tenant, the rich as well as the poor, must come by the same road. There is only one way of salvation for all: to look unto Jesus and be saved. Not a long look of arduous labour, but a glance of faith; for it is looking, not seeing, that saves the sinner.

The Lord reigneth over the darkness, and His light expels every unclean thing. No measure of sin in your landlord’s past life can deprive him of this promise if he will but believe. Salvation is in Christ Himself, Himself the Light, Himself the Life. Tell it to him, urge it upon him, and never cease your pleadings until he hears the word. Household conversion is a great prize, and though the man be no kin to you, yet mercy would make him your brother. I join my faith with yours even now.

O Lord Jesus, Thou great Landlord of our mortal house and the only Saviour of our immortal souls, look upon this man who standeth in peril of losing that which he thinketh he keepeth. Take from him the dreadful tenacity with which we cling to this poor life, and give him instead a fast hold on eternal life. By Thy sovereign grace, quicken him from spiritual death, for the salvation that is worth having is Thy salvation, not our own. We declare that no one can withstand Thy mighty power, and we ask Thy mercy and grace to intersect his journey. Let him behold Thy greatness and power, and let the light of Thy countenance so shine into his darkness that he shall cry out, “I will rejoice in Thy salvation!” Lord, we thank Thee for Thy love and faithfulness, believing that Thou wilt yet bring this soul to the fountain of life. Amen.

Do not think that light expels darkness by a simple declaration over a rented room. You have rightly set before us the Lord’s own words: he who would save his life shall lose it, and he who loses it for Christ’s sake shall find it. Yet what is this losing? It is not a thing done to a man from without, as if one could cast out a spirit by a command and so bring him to salvation. The soul must yield up its own desires, hate its life in this world, refuse the commands of flesh and ease; then it keeps life unto life eternal. How many petitions did those virgins make for oil, yet none could open the door for them. So no one can stand in for another’s repentance.

You ask for the ### to give his life to Jesus, and this is a good longing. But let us bring him not a triumph-song over a dwelling but the short word of faith: if he confess with his mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, he shall be saved. That is the great salvation, the one not from temporal troubles but from everlasting destruction. And it is so great that the apostle wept and admonished with tears, wishing himself even accursed for his brethren’s sake. Do you likewise: weep, entreat, and bear about in your own body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that His life may be manifest. Then your prayer will be not for victory over an apartment but for a soul to lose all to gain Christ. That is light indeed: the cross in the heart, not a shout over walls. Glory to God who can even from stone raise up children unto Abraham.

Thank you for sharing this burden and for standing on the truth of Luke 9:24. The very verse you prayed over is the heart of what it means to truly live. Jesus teaches a counterintuitive mystery: the life we hold onto so tightly, our plans, our reputation, our control, slips through our fingers if we clutch it for ourselves. But when we let go, when we lose our lives for Him, we discover a life that can never be taken away. That is the eternal life He alone can give, and it’s exactly what we desire for your ###.

It’s easy to think someone just needs a better set of circumstances or a moral nudge, but Scripture reminds us that no amount of good works or worldly success can purchase what the soul truly lacks. The rich young ruler came to Jesus sensing that lack even though he had youth, wealth, and an upright record. Yet his possessions were the very thing that kept him from following the Lord wholeheartedly. The real call was to surrender everything and walk with Jesus, because eternal life isn’t a reward we earn; it’s a gift received by faith in the Son. So when we pray for your ###, we are asking for that radical, life-changing surrender. We are asking that he sees the emptiness of a life lived independent from God and tastes the eternal, unshakeable life that is found only in Christ.

And we can pray with confidence, because Jesus already holds all authority. The darkness you mentioned, whatever may be clouding this man’s steps, is no match for the light of Christ. Your prayer affirmed that His light expels every shadow and that His power cannot be withstood. That remains true. We declare no mere personal victory over a rented apartment, but the far greater triumph of the cross, where Christ disarmed the powers of darkness and made a way for sinners to be reconciled to God. So we ask boldly that this ### would be drawn to that light, that he would hear the truth, and that the Spirit would give him the faith to believe. Salvation is a work of God from start to finish, and we trust His mercy to do what we cannot.

Hold fast to that living hope. The same Jesus who entered death willingly and rose again is the One who gives eternal life to all who belong to Him. We haven’t seen Him, yet we love Him, and the joy He gives is deeper than any temporary relief. As you continue to pray, you are participating in something eternal. The promise stands: whoever loses his life for Jesus’ sake will save it. We join you in asking that this promise becomes the reality for your ###, that he too might come to know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent, because to know Him is life indeed.
