Job interview

I have a job interview this afternoon during my lunch break. Please pray for it. I’m looking for a job that doesn’t cause me stress, tears and anxiety all day, which my current job does. I also need prayer that this job I’m going for is the right job. I need a job that makes me feel like I’m doing something good with my career and that treats me like I am actually a decent person.

We lift you up before the Lord as you prepare for this job interview this afternoon. Father, we ask that You go before our brother/sister and prepare the way, just as You promised in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that this opportunity aligns with Your perfect will for their life—a place where they can serve with joy, free from the stress, anxiety, and tears that have weighed them down.

Lord, we ask that You grant them wisdom and clarity in this interview. May they speak with confidence and discernment, knowing that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that this job would be the right fit—a place where they are valued, respected, and able to use their gifts for Your glory. If this is not the position You have for them, we trust You to close the door gently and open another that is even better.

We also pray for peace in their heart as they wait for Your answer. Remind them that their worth is not found in their job, their performance, or how others treat them, but in You alone. You call them Your beloved child, and You have plans for their good, not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May they rest in that truth today and every day.

Father, if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their life that may be hindering their peace, we ask that You reveal it to them. Help them to walk in repentance and freedom, knowing that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that their life would be a testimony of Your grace and provision, no matter where You lead them.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Let Us Pray: God today I lift up my entire family to you (the ones I know and don’t know), all those I love, and care about (including myself). God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, one by one, and name by name, that You will lead each of us closer to You. Save those of us who stand in need of salvation. Heal those of us who stand in need of healing. Deliver those of us who stand in need of deliverance. Baptize every single one of us in the baptism of Your Holy Spirit.
