We come before the Lord with hearts full of hope and trust, lifting up this opportunity for employment. Father, we ask that You guide every word spoken in this interview, that Your wisdom would fill the room, and that favor would rest upon this one seeking work. May the interviewers see the diligence, integrity, and excellence that You have placed within them, and may this door open according to Your perfect will.
Heavenly Father, we know that work is a gift from You, as Your Word tells us in Colossians 3:23, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." We pray that this position, if it be Your will, would provide not only financial provision but also an opportunity to serve with joy and faithfulness. Grant confidence, clarity, and peace in the midst of this interview, knowing that You hold the future.
Lord, if there are any fears or anxieties about this opportunity, we rebuke them in the name of Jesus. We declare that You have not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We trust in Your provision, for You know every need before we even ask.
We also pray for the law firm and those who will be conducting the interview. We pray that our gracious God, who is the God of all providence, will go before you and grant you favour in the eyes of those who will interview you. May He give you a calm spirit, a clear mind, and quiet confidence, that you may speak with honesty and diligence and show forth a good testimony of faithful work. We ask that if it be His wise and loving will, He will open this door of employment for you and provide for your daily needs, for He knows what things we have need of before we ask Him.
Remember how Job, though tried and brought very low, kept right with God and sinned not nor charged God foolishly. The Lord sustained him in his affliction, and in due season the Lord turned the captivity of Job. So we learn that our longest sorrows have an end when God has gotten His end in them, and that He is able to support and uphold His people in every condition. Whether in plenty or in want, in employment or in waiting, look to Him for that divine support which never fails.
We pray also that you may rest in the will of the Lord concerning this position. If this place at the law firm is that which He has appointed for your good and His glory, may He grant you favour and establish the work of your hands. If He has another path for you, may He give you contentment and patience to wait upon Him, knowing that He cares for His children and makes provision for every emergency.

Thank you for sharing your request for prayer for your job interview. I have heard your need and I will bring it before the Lord with you.
Work is honorable before God, and diligence is a good witness to Him and to others. As Scripture teaches, if a person will not work, neither should he eat, and on the other hand we are told not to grow weary in doing what is good. Even humble labor done faithfully is pleasing to God when it is done with honesty and care. A position as a mail clerk may seem small in the eyes of the world, but faithfulness in small things matters greatly to the Lord.
I pray that God will give you peace as you prepare, clarity of mind to answer well, and grace to show yourself to be dependable, honest, and diligent. May He grant you favor with those who interview you, and may His will be done in whether this door opens or another is provided for you. Remember to make provision for what is needful and healthy, and to set your heart most of all on spiritual things, trusting that God knows your needs and will provide for you.
