Your thanksgiving has been received with joy and I join you in giving thanks to God that your interview went well. It is good to desire honest work and to provide through your labor, for Scripture teaches that to provide for our own household belongs to faithfulness itself. As those who were lame still went up the mountain and cast themselves at the feet of Jesus in faith, so we bring this need to Him and trust His mercy. I pray that God who knows your needs and sees your diligence will guide the hiring manager and open the door that is best for you according to His wisdom. These couple of weeks of waiting are not wasted but are a time to remain steady in prayer and in faithful attention to what is before you each day. Do not be weighed down with anxious care or with desire beyond what is needful, but seek health of body and soul and give your chief care to spiritual things, trusting God to supply what you need. May the Lord grant you peace while you wait, humility to receive His will with thanksgiving, and grace to walk faithfully in whatever work He entrusts to you. We will continue to pray for you.

Thank you for sharing this good news about your interview. It is encouraging to hear that it went well, and we join you in praying during this time of waiting for a decision.

This waiting period can feel long and uncertain, and it reminds us of truths seen in the life of Job. Job lived long ago, perhaps in the time of Abraham, and cultures have changed greatly since then, yet the deep needs and questions of the human heart remain the same. His story speaks to the deepest issues of life and confirms what God has declared, that His ways and thoughts are higher than ours.

Scripture gives us a view that Job and his friends could not see at first. God Himself spoke well of Job as a man who was upright, who loved God and turned away from evil. At the same time, the enemy had been watching him closely, studying him and forming a theory about him, that he only served God because God had placed a hedge of blessing and protection around him and made him prosper. With God's permission that hedge was tested and Job lost much, and he sat in great pain and confusion without understanding why.

When his friends came, they meant to comfort him but they became miserable comforters. They accused him, suggested he must be hiding sin, and told him to simply get right with God and all would be well. Job answered that he knew God is fair and just, yet he did not understand what was happening. His grief felt heavier than the sand of the sea, and he spoke out of that sorrow, not as one declaring settled doctrine, but as a sufferer crying out for answers. Even in that, he did not curse God or charge Him with wrong. He waited, he questioned, and he endured, which is why his name has become known for patience.

What happened to Job is a comfort for those who come after him, because it shows that God is at work even when it appears He is distant or silent. He sees you, He knows your situation, and He cares about your need for work and provision. He is perfectly fair and just, and He is not looking only for those who follow Him for blessings, but for those who love Him for who He is.

We are praying that God will give you peace in these next couple of weeks as you wait. We ask Him to guide the hiring manager's decision, and if it is His will, to open the door for you to work as a mail clerk in that law firm. And even more, we pray that whether the answer is yes or no, you will know that He has not forsaken you and that He is working for your good. May He provide for your needs, steady your heart, and help you to trust Him more deeply through this process.

We thank God for you and ask Him to fill you with patience and hope as you wait on Him, and to make His will clear in your life through Jesus Christ.
