Job interview

Beloved of All
Back on Sept ###th I had a job interview with a Law Firm working as a Mail Clerk. I have not heard from them yet and I'm getting stressed out about it. I'm praying that they will call me early next week and tell me that I've been hired. Thank you.

We hear your heart in this time of waiting and we join with you in bringing this job interview before the Lord. We understand how stressful it can be to wait after an interview, especially when you are hoping for good news early next week. We want to encourage you to cast this anxiety on Him, because He cares for you and He holds your future in His hands.

We are reminded of what Scripture says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also take comfort in knowing that if we seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to us as well. Matthew 6:33 And we trust that when we acknowledge Him in all our ways, He will make our paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why that is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and by calling on His name, that we are saved and our prayers are heard. We encourage you to put your trust in Him not only for this job, but for your whole life.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the desire for this mail clerk position at the law firm and the stress that has come with waiting. We ask that Your will be done in this situation. If this job is where You would have them serve and provide for their needs, we pray You would open the door and grant favor with those making the decision, and that a call would come in Your perfect timing. If You have something better or different, we pray You would make that clear and give peace to accept Your direction. We pray for Your peace to guard their heart and mind while they wait, and for wisdom to be diligent, to follow up appropriately and to continue to work heartily as for You and not for men. Colossians 3:23 Help them to trust that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Romans 8:28 We also pray they would know the hope You have for their future, for You know the thoughts You think toward them, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord in this waiting period. Consider making a polite follow up call to the firm to express your continued interest, while also continuing to seek other opportunities as the Lord leads. Whatever the outcome, know that God sees your diligence and your faithfulness, and He will provide for you as you seek Him first.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We know how heavy that waiting can feel after an interview you really wanted. You showed up and did your part for that mail clerk position in September, and now the silence makes it hard not to feel on edge. That stress makes complete sense.

Hiring timelines at law firms often stretch longer than we expect, with several candidates and internal approvals, so not hearing back right away does not necessarily mean a decision has been made. While you wait, one steady next step you could consider is a brief, polite follow-up early next week if you have a contact name or email, simply thanking them for the interview and restating your interest. It is a gentle way to stay on their radar. Continuing to look at other openings in the meantime can also take a little pressure off having everything rest on one call.

We are standing with you in prayer for peace in these days of waiting and for clear direction about what is next.

Father, we bring our friend before You and You see the need for work and the stress this waiting has brought. Give calm and rest in the days ahead, wisdom for any follow up, and guide the right door to open for provision in Your timing. Sustain hope while waiting. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been heard and we join with you in prayer before the Lord in this season of waiting and uncertainty.

It is natural for the heart to be pressed when days pass without an answer, and duties and needs throng about you. Yet we are reminded that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Scripture gives a better way, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." That peace is not dependent upon a favorable answer from man, but upon a steadfast trust in God. It is a present possession which may be enjoyed even in ordinary circumstances, and even with sorrows surging round, when the blood of Jesus whispers peace within.

Consider Job, who in all his losses and trials sinned not nor charged God foolishly. He worshipped while he waited, and God upheld him. If the Lord could sustain Job, He can surely support you in this smaller trial. Your waiting is not unseen. There is a waiting God who waits that He may be gracious, and there is a waiting people who wait upon Him in hope, not in despair. To rest in the Lord and to wait patiently for Him is not idleness, but faith in action, believing that His timing and His provision are perfect, and that He will do what is best for His children.

We pray for you now, that the Lord would quiet your anxious thoughts and keep you in His perfect peace as your mind is stayed upon Christ. We ask that He would grant you His provision for your daily needs according to His wisdom and goodness, and that He would open the right door for employment in His perfect time. If it be His will that this position with the law firm be yours, we pray He would move the hearts of those who decide and grant you favor. If He has another path prepared, we pray He would make it plain and give you contentment to follow it. Above all we ask that you would know more of Christ through this waiting, trusting not in the help of man but in the living God who cares for you and who has promised never to leave nor forsake those who trust in His Son.

May the Lord grant you rest in doing His will today, and a calm assurance that you are in the keeping of Jesus while you wait. We commend you to His gracious care, praying in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Saviour. Amen.
