Please help me not drink alcohol and smoke pot anymore. Please help me get out of bed now and shave and shower and get to work in one hour. Please help me with my job because I don't know what I am going to do. I'm scared God please help me. Please help me not throw up anymore and please help me sober up and think correctly. Please forgive me

We hear your cry for help, and we join with you in lifting these burdens before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we want to acknowledge your honesty and humility in coming before the Lord with a repentant heart. The fact that you are calling on the name of Jesus is a powerful testament to His work in your life, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We are so grateful that you know Him as your Savior, and we pray that He will continue to draw you closer to Himself in this time of need.

Your request reveals a struggle with fear, addiction, and the weight of consequences from your actions. We want to address these things with truth and love, for Scripture tells us that "the truth will set you free" (John 8:32). First, we rebuke the spirit of fear that is gripping your heart. The Bible tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear does not come from God, and it is not His will for you to live in bondage to it. We also rebuke the strongholds of alcohol and marijuana in your life. These substances are not only harmful to your body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), but they also cloud your mind and hinder your ability to walk in the Spirit. The Bible is clear: "Don’t be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18). We encourage you to turn away from these things completely and seek the Lord for strength to overcome them.

We also want to speak to the issue of your absence from work. While we understand that there may have been circumstances that led to this, Scripture calls us to be diligent and responsible in our work: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). We pray that the Lord will give you the strength to take responsibility for your actions and to make amends where necessary. It is never too late to start walking in obedience, and we believe that God can restore what has been broken if you surrender it to Him.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have life abundantly. Lord, we lift up our brother to You, knowing that You see his heart and his struggles. We ask that You would forgive him for the times he has turned to alcohol and marijuana instead of to You. Cleanse him from all unrighteousness and set him free from the bondage of addiction. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to seek help if he needs it.

Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of his bosses, coworkers, and customers. Grant him favor in their eyes and give him the words to speak with humility and integrity. Help him to take responsibility for his actions and to make things right where he has fallen short. Lord, we also pray against the spirit of fear that is trying to paralyze him. Fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind him that You have not given him a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control.

We pray for his physical body as well, Lord. Ease the sickness he is feeling and help him to sober up quickly. Give him the strength to get out of bed, to care for himself, and to make it to work on time. Provide for his needs, both physically and spiritually, and remind him that You are his Provider and his Strength.

Lord, we ask that You would give him clarity of mind and purpose. Help him to know what steps to take next in his job and in his life. Show him how to walk in obedience to You and to honor You in all that he does. Surround him with godly people who can encourage him and hold him accountable. And most of all, draw him closer to You, that he might experience the fullness of life that You have promised to those who love You.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your mercy. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that our brother is not defined by his mistakes but by the blood of Jesus Christ, which covers him and makes him new. Strengthen him, Lord, and help him to walk in the victory that is already his in Christ.

In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.

We want to encourage you to take this moment as a fresh start. The Lord is with you, and He is for you. Do not let shame or guilt keep you from running to Him, for He is faithful to forgive and to restore. Consider reaching out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or Christian friend who can walk alongside you as you seek to overcome these struggles. You do not have to face this alone. The Bible tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16).

Remember, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). The Lord has already provided a way out for you—you just need to take it. Lean on Him, and He will sustain you.

We're here with you, friend. We understand that life can be overwhelming, and it's okay to feel scared or uncertain. But remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, and He's got a plan for you.

First, let's talk about your job. We know it's tough, but God has equipped you with everything you need to face this. He's called you to be diligent and responsible, so let's trust Him to give you the strength to take responsibility and make things right. It's not too late to start walking in obedience, and God can restore what's been broken if you surrender it to Him.

Now, about the alcohol and marijuana. We know it's hard, but we believe in your strength to overcome. You've taken the first step by acknowledging the problem, and that's huge. Let's ask God to help you resist temptation and give you the wisdom to seek help if you need it. Remember, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and He deserves to be honored with a healthy lifestyle.

Fear is a tough one, but we know that God hasn't given you a spirit of fear. Instead, He's given you a spirit of power, love, and self-control. So let's claim that truth and ask God to fill you with His peace, which is beyond our understanding.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name. We lift up our friend to You, knowing that You see their heart and their struggles. We ask You to forgive them for the times they've turned to alcohol and marijuana instead of to You. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and set them free from the bondage of addiction. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to seek help if they need it.

Father, we ask You to soften the hearts of their bosses, coworkers, and customers. Grant them favor in their eyes and give them the words to speak with humility and integrity. Help them to take responsibility for their actions and to make things right where they've fallen short.

Lord, we pray against the spirit of fear that's trying to paralyze them. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You haven't given them a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control.

We pray for their physical body, Lord. Ease the sickness they're feeling and help them to sober up quickly. Give them the strength to get out of bed, care for themselves, and make it to work on time. Provide for their needs, both physically and spiritually, and remind them that You are their Provider and their Strength.

Lord, we ask You to give them clarity of mind and purpose. Help them to know what steps to take next in their job and in their life. Show them how to walk in obedience to You and to honor You in all that they do. Surround them with godly people who can encourage them and hold them accountable. And most of all, draw them closer to You, that they might experience the fullness of life that You've promised to those who love You.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray, Amen."

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
