Can you please pray for me as I'm going through a very hard time in my life. Im suicidal and i need Gods love back

We have read your request and we are praying for you and weeping with you in this very hard time. We want you to know that God has not stopped loving you and He has not left you, even when your feelings tell you that He has. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. We thank you for reaching out and for being honest about feeling suicidal and feeling that you have lost the Holy Spirit, and we want to walk with you toward hope in Jesus.

We want to gently correct what you are feeling about losing the Holy Spirit, not to rebuke you harshly but to give you truth to stand on when feelings are overwhelming. Feelings are real but they are not always true. If you have truly put your trust in Jesus Christ, the Bible says you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit Ephesians 1:13 and that seal is for the day of redemption. We are told that He will in no way leave us, neither will He in any way forsake us Hebrews 13:5. We can grieve the Holy Spirit by sin or disobedience Ephesians 4:30 and we can lose the joy of our salvation as David prayed to restore to me the joy of your salvation Psalm 51:12, but God does not abandon His children. What you are experiencing may be spiritual dryness, conviction, exhaustion, or oppression, but it is not that God has stopped loving you. Nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39. His love for you is steadfast and everlasting Jeremiah 31:3 and He demonstrated it while we were still sinners Christ died for us Romans 5:8.

We also need to speak lovingly about the suicidal thoughts you mentioned. Your life is precious to God. You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you 1 Corinthians 6:19. God has a purpose for you and thoughts of ending your life are not from Him. He wants you to choose life Deuteronomy 30:19 and He promises plans for peace and not for evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. We urge you not to remain alone with these thoughts. Please reach out right away to a trusted pastor, a mature Christian believer, a biblical counselor, or a medical professional, and if you are in immediate danger please contact a local crisis helpline or emergency services or go to a safe person near you. God often brings comfort through His people and through help He has provided 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. You do not have to carry this burden alone.

We noticed your request mentions God but does not mention Jesus Christ, and we must speak about this because it is so important for your hope. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not yet fully trusted Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved Romans 10:9. If you have already believed, remember that you can come boldly to the Father in Jesus name right now, confessing any sin, and He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. God hears you when you pray in Jesus name.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who feels lost and overwhelmed and suicidal. Lord we ask You to reveal Your unfailing love and presence in a powerful way. Quiet the lies of the enemy and the weight of despair and let this precious person know that You are near and that You have not left. Forgive any sin, wash and cleanse through the blood of Jesus, and restore the joy of salvation. Fill this heart again with Your Holy Spirit and with peace that passes all understanding. Give strength to choose life, to reach out for help, and to take the next breath and the next step with You. Place godly people around this one to support and counsel and protect. We ask that You heal the broken heart, renew the mind through Your Word, and give hope for the future. Lead this dear one to know Jesus more deeply and to trust fully in His finished work on the cross. We pray for Your will to be done and for Your love to be felt anew. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to stay in the Word each day even a little at a time, to pray honestly in Jesus name, and to stay connected to a local Bible believing church where you can be known and supported. God is not finished with you. Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Keep reaching out, keep seeking Him, and keep letting others help you. We are continuing to pray for you.

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, find a helpline in your country (about 130 countries) at findahelpline.com. You are not alone; trained people are ready to help right now.

Thank you for reaching out and telling us honestly how heavy this feels. We hear how much pain you are carrying right now, and how frightening it is to feel distant from God and to have thoughts of not wanting to live. We are glad you asked for prayer instead of staying alone with these thoughts.

Feeling like you have lost the Holy Spirit does not mean God has left you. Many who walk through dark, exhausting seasons feel far from God even while He remains close and His love for them has not changed. Your longing for His love again is itself a sign that He is still at work in your heart.

We want to encourage you to reach out to someone today, alongside prayer. Please consider talking with a trusted pastor, counselor, doctor, or a safe family member or friend who can stay with you in person. If you have a professional you already know, let them know how you are feeling right now. You do not have to carry this alone, and getting care quickly is an important way to honor the life God has given you.

We are praying for you and we will keep praying.

Father, we lift this dear person to You in Jesus' name. You see their hurt and weariness and their desire to feel Your love again. Please surround them with Your presence, bring help and caring people close today, give them strength for each next step, and guide them to the support they need. Hold them in Your mercy and remind them they are not forgotten. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry has reached us and we have carried it before the Lord in prayer, and we do pray for you now in this hard and dark time. To feel that you have lost the Holy Spirit and to be pressed down with thoughts of death is a heavy burden indeed, and we do not take your pain lightly. Hear this truth and let it be a comfort to your soul, the Lord still loves you and Christ still receives sinners who come to Him.

You fear that the Holy Spirit has left you. The Scripture teaches that by the Holy Spirit we are sealed, and though we may grieve Him, He does not lightly forsake those whom He has sealed. When the Spirit is grieved by unbelief or unholiness or worldliness, the soul may feel as Samson did when his strength was gone, weak and captive and blind, and assurance departs and doubts arise, and the heart cries, Do I love the Lord or no, am I His or am I not. That darkness of feeling is not proof that He has abandoned you. He is not a mere influence but a Divine Person who dwells with you and shall be in you, and His great work is to glorify Christ and to show you the things of Christ.

Therefore we would turn your eyes away from your own feelings to Christ Himself. The Holy Spirit does not magnify our frames or our outward rites, He magnifies the Savior. He delights to show the love of Christ, how intensely He loves sinners, and to lead a poor lost one to leap into the Savior's arms. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and if you look to Him even with a trembling and broken faith, that very looking is the work of the Spirit in you. Life does not lie within us to stir up by ourselves, until the Holy Spirit visits us we are dead in trespasses and sins, and the fact that you are crying for God's love is itself a sign that He is still striving with you.

You ask how you can pray when you feel so empty. This is what it is to pray in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is willing to help you to pray and to tell you how to pray. When you have no strength and no words, pray in His power and through His help. True prayer may be broken and tearful, yet if it is perfumed with love to Christ and mixed with faith, however small that faith may seem, it is praying in the Holy Spirit. And close after that comes this word, keep yourselves in the love of God. Abide there. Do not measure His love by your changing feelings, but by the cross where Christ died for the ungodly.

And hear what the Holy Spirit says today, for His voice is still, Today if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts. He says Today. He is urgent because He delights in what is right and good and He longs to see you rid of this heaviness and brought under the power of love. Do not put off seeking Him. Come to Christ today just as you are, confessing your sin and your need, and ask the Father to pour out His Spirit afresh upon you.

We are praying for you that the Lord would grant you to know the Holy Spirit not as a distant it but as a present Comforter, that He would take bitterness out of your sorrow and give you a flood of comfort and hope, that He would restore to you assurance and usefulness and joy, and that He would keep you. May He show you Christ in all His sufficiency, and may you be enabled to live near to Christ and give yourself up to His anointing.

We urge you, do not walk this hard road alone. Tell a faithful pastor or a mature believer near you of these thoughts today, and if the burden to end your life grows heavy, reach at once for help from a trusted person or a counselor or a crisis helpline in your area. Your life is precious to God and to His people.

We now commend you to Him in prayer. O Father of mercies, look upon this wounded soul who feels forsaken and weary of life. For Jesus sake forgive all sin and let the blood of Christ speak peace. O Holy Spirit, Comforter and Spirit of Holiness, come in power, help this poor one to pray, glorify Christ to this heart, and keep this soul in the love of God. O Lord Jesus, reveal Yourself as mighty to save, and grant faith to rest on You alone. Preserve this life, lift up this head, and give light in this darkness, that this dear one may yet rejoice in Your salvation. Amen.

I have been rejected by family members; they gave up on me because they got tired of me. My family talked down to me and talked about me behind my back, and they rejected me and excluded me. I never had a true friend or dated or married. I am afraid if I get married my spouse may reject me too...
