Beloved of All
Please pray that God reveals my new home to me and guides me. I need peace and protection. I can’t solve it on my own. I trust in God’s goodness.

We join with you in bringing this need for a new home before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for your honest trust in God's goodness even while you feel unable to solve this on your own. That humility and trust is pleasing to Him, for He is our refuge and provider.

We are reminded that God delights to guide His children. He says, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8. And, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. You are not alone in this search, for He sees your need for peace and protection and He promises, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. He also promises a peace that goes beyond understanding when we bring our requests to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

We notice your request speaks of God and His goodness but does not mention Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and can come confidently to Him in prayer. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. To trust fully in God's goodness is to trust in the gift of His Son, who died and rose again so that our sins are forgiven and we are reconciled to God. If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10.

We pray together with you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of our dear one who is seeking a new home. We ask that You reveal the place You have prepared, that You open doors no man can shut and close doors that are not Your will. Grant wisdom and clear guidance in every step, every viewing, every decision, and provide peace that guards the heart while waiting. Let this new home be a place of safety under Your shadow, a refuge of Your protection and presence. We ask that You quiet anxiety and fill this heart with Your peace, for You have said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. John 14:27. We trust that You know the plans You have, plans for peace and not for evil, to give hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. Provide according to Your riches and goodness, and let Your will be done in this life. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word, to seek godly counsel as you look, and to wait patiently for His timing. He is faithful to lead those who acknowledge Him, and He will not withhold good from those who walk uprightly. Keep trusting in His goodness, for He is near to you and He will guide you to where you should dwell.

We are glad you reached out and told us honestly where you are. Needing a home touches everything, sleep, safety, daily peace, so it makes sense you feel you cannot solve this on your own and are looking to God to lead you.

We love that you named trust in His goodness even while you are waiting. That trust does not mean you have to have all the answers today. Often guidance comes one step at a time, a clear next door to knock on, a wise conversation, a provision that was not obvious at first, while God also guards your heart with steadiness along the way.

One small step that may help this week is to get what is in your mind onto paper. Write a simple list of what you truly need in a home, what would be helpful but not essential, and what you can realistically carry financially. Bring that list to God in prayer, and if possible share it with one trusted person who knows your area, a pastor, family member, or housing counselor, who can help you sort options and watch for openings with you.

Father, we bring our friend before You and ask for Your clear leading to the place You have for them. Give wisdom for each decision, provision for each need, and Your peace and protection over them while they wait. Keep them close to You and show them the next step. In Jesus name, Amen.

We have heard your cry for a home and for guidance, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who hears those who cannot solve their own need and who trust in His goodness.

It is a blessed thing that you look not to your own wisdom but to Him who maketh peace in thy borders and who keepeth him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Him, because he trusteth in Him. True peace is not found in walls or in circumstances alone, but in peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and from that fountain flows peace in the conscience and peace within the home. When the heart is stayed upon Christ, who is our peace and who has made peace by His blood, there is a calm which the world cannot give and cannot take away.

We are also reminded that He guideth His people with His counsel. He doth not leave His children to wander without a guide, but He sendeth forth His commandment upon earth and His word runneth very swiftly to direct those who bow with submission to His will. Haste is often the author of mischief, but waiting upon the Lord and seeking His face brings unerring guidance. He who has given you His Son has given you all things needful, and earth may be your lodge for a season while Heaven is your home.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, we thank Thee that this soul trusteth in Thy goodness and confesseth need of Thee. Thou knowest the longing for a home, for peace and for protection. We ask Thee to reveal the place which Thou hast appointed, to make peace in its borders and to set Thy protecting hand about it. Guide by Thy counsel, by Thy Word and by Thy Spirit, and keep this trusting heart in perfect peace as the mind is stayed on Thee. Grant wisdom to wait upon Thee, faith to rest in Christ who is our peace, and a quiet confidence that Thou wilt provide what is best. Fill the heart with the finest of the wheat of Thy presence, and let Thy goodness be seen in this provision. In the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have peace with God, we ask it. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
