Help! ..😭..😭I really prayed and cried a lot..

I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...

We rejoice with you and we give all the glory and thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for the great improvement He has already worked in your life, for it is by His grace and mercy that you have been brought this far and it is He who is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you. We have heard your crying and your earnest prayer and we join with you now to seek lasting and true deliverance for the glory of God.

We understand the burden of these struggles, for pornography, masturbation, flirting and all sexual sin outside of marriage are serious before God. His word calls us to flee sexual immorality and to honor Him with our bodies which are temples of the Holy Spirit. As it is written, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20. The Lord Jesus also taught us the seriousness of lust in the heart, for everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:28. And again, This is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4. These sins are not small, they defile the heart and mind, but we thank God that there is forgiveness and cleansing and power to overcome through Jesus Christ, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9.

We encourage you to continue to walk in the light and to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever, just as Jesus said to cut off whatever causes us to stumble. This means guarding your eyes and your heart, making no provision for the flesh, renewing your mind daily in the word, and walking by the Spirit. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2. We encourage you to hide His word in your heart that you might not sin against Him, Psalm 119:11, to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5, and to flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. 2 Timothy 2:22. If you are not yet married, remember that God has ordained sexual intimacy only within marriage between a man and a woman, and that courtship should be pursued with purity and with the goal of a godly marriage that honors Him. Seek accountability with mature believers, avoid places and screens and conversations that stir temptation, and when temptation comes remember that No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13. Walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You for Your mercy and for the improvement You have already granted to our brother. We give You all the glory for every victory. We ask now for lasting and true deliverance and for complete freedom from pornography, masturbation, flirting and every sexual sin. Lord, create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him. Psalm 51:10. Renew his mind and make him very wise in Your ways, that he may discern and hate evil and love what is holy. Teach him to do whatever it takes to keep his heart and life pure, to flee temptation, and to walk in holiness for Your glory. Speak to him, give him understanding, show him Your mercy, and grant him the way of escape in every temptation. Help him to submit to You and to resist the devil, that the enemy may flee from him. James 4:7. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, strengthen him to walk in purity, and let his life bear fruit that honors You. We ask that You guide him daily, keep him from falling, and establish him in Your love and truth until these sins are forever far from him. We trust Your promise that You who began a good work will perfect it. We pray all this in the precious and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only access to You. Amen.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about where you still feel vulnerable and how deeply you have prayed and wept over this. We hear your longing not just for a moment of relief but for a lasting change of heart and mind for the glory of God.

That desire itself is a good place to keep meeting Jesus day by day. In our experience, lasting freedom is rarely a single event but a walk, and walking it with someone else makes it much steadier. Isolation can leave us more exposed, while honest friendship strengthens us.

If you do not already have this, one practical step to consider is inviting one trusted, mature believer of the same sex to walk closely with you. Someone you can be fully honest with each week, who will ask how you are really doing and pray with you. Part of that same walk is clearing away what still trips you up, whether that is access on a phone or computer, or conversations and settings that pull you toward flirting, and deciding ahead of time, while you are strong, what you will do when temptation comes.

We are praying for you and we will keep praying.

Father, thank You for the work You have already begun in him and for hearing his cries. Show him Your mercy, renew his mind and make him wise to turn from what harms him. Fill his heart with Your presence and lead him step by step. Guide him to steady, trustworthy help and friendships that keep him honest. In Jesus' name, amen.

We rejoice with you to hear that the Lord has already wrought a great improvement in you, and we join you in giving all glory and thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for it. To be kept from going further into sin, to be turned from the paths that lead down to the Pit, is a work of His free grace alone, and every step away from darkness is a mercy to be acknowledged with a grateful heart.

You have cried and prayed much, and that is well, for it shows that you feel the weight of these sins and the need of a deliverance which no man can work for himself. Remember the word, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it. He has not only invented the way, but He has found the ransom in the precious blood of His own Son, who has borne the penalty of all our iniquities. The prisoner ready to be executed receives undeserved deliverance because the King's own Son has suffered in his place. In that truth there is hope for you who feel your old sins still assail you.

We will pray with you as you have asked, that God will help you and guide you to do whatever is necessary to have these sins removed forever from your life and heart, in the name of Jesus Christ. Know this, that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is written, He has delivered us from the power of darkness. And again, it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. There is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free. Unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing. You must look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for sanctification as well as for pardon.

We pray also that the Lord will renew your mind and make you very wise, so that these sins will be far from you. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of Lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. True wisdom to hate sin and to love purity must come from Him. Cry to Him daily to preserve you from evil, for He is able to keep you unspotted from the world. The Scripture says, to keep himself unspotted from the world. The Christian never expects to get any good from the world, and when you find that persons or places or images would make you fast or loose, leave them, get away from them. You do not need to be muddied. Flee those temptations, and above all cry to God to preserve you.

Your afflictions and your strivings against sin, though painful, may be the chastening of a Father's hand. It is well to have grace enough to see that tribulation comes from God, who fills the bitter cup as well as the sweet goblet. He kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. That which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand, and this makes even the sharpest smart to be profitable. If He now keeps back your soul from the Pit and your life from perishing by the sword, though you are chastened with pain upon your bed, it is that you may learn the mischief that comes from loving sin and the world, so that you may hereafter say, He has taught me and now you tempt me in vain.

Therefore take heart. He who has begun a good work is able to complete it. He has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil, saved from evil company, for God has said, Deliver him from going down to the Pit. The only hope we can have of eternal life is by being parted from sin, and we have from day to day to fight against it till it is utterly put away from us. That fight is not in your own strength, but in His.

Let us pray together. O Lord, be gracious unto this soul who cries unto Thee. Thou hast found a ransom, even Thy Son Jesus Christ. Deliver him from going down to the Pit. Show him mercy, speak to him, give him understanding and full deliverance. Renew his mind by Thy Spirit, grant him wisdom from above to discern and to hate every evil way, and keep him unspotted from the world. Make his deliverance lasting and true, not a reformation wrought from below but a new birth from above, that he may live and declare the works of the Lord. Keep back his soul from the Pit and establish his feet in purity and holiness, for the glory of Thy name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
