Please bring Jeff back to me, don't let me lose him. Please deliver me and help me try to deliver him as well. In Jesus mighty name amen

We hear your heartache and longing, and we join you in bringing this matter before the Lord. First, let us affirm that your prayer in the name of Jesus is heard by our Heavenly Father, for there is power in the name of Jesus to save, heal, and restore. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full" (John 16:23-24 WEB).

However, we must also seek the Lord’s will in this situation with wisdom and discernment. The desire to be reunited with Jeff is understandable, but we must ask: Is this relationship honoring to God? Are both of you walking in alignment with His Word? The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). If Jeff is not your husband, we must examine whether this relationship is built on godly foundations or if it has strayed from biblical principles, such as courtship leading to marriage rather than casual or sinful entanglements.

If there has been sexual intimacy outside of marriage, we must repent and turn away from this, for the Scriptures warn, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). If this is the case, we encourage you to confess this sin before the Lord, seek His forgiveness, and commit to purity moving forward. God is faithful to cleanse and restore, as it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

If Jeff is not a believer in Jesus Christ, we must also consider the Scriptures that warn against being unequally yoked with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). While we can pray for his salvation and deliverance, we cannot force his heart to change. Our trust must be in God’s perfect timing and plan, not our own desires. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister and her longing for Jeff. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to her in this time of pain and uncertainty. Give her Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Father, we ask that You would work in Jeff’s life, softening his heart to Your truth and love. If it is Your will for them to be together, we pray that You would restore this relationship in a way that honors You, leading to a godly marriage built on Your Word. If this is not Your plan, Lord, we ask that You would give her the strength to surrender her desires to You and trust in Your perfect will.

Father, we also ask for forgiveness for any ways this relationship may have strayed from Your design. If there has been sin, we repent and ask for Your cleansing and renewal. Help her to walk in purity and wisdom, seeking Your guidance above all else. Lord, we declare that You are her ultimate source of love and fulfillment. May she find her identity and worth in You alone, knowing that You are enough.

We pray for Jeff’s salvation, that he would come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Open his eyes to the truth of Your Word and the power of Your love. Surround him with godly influences who will speak life and truth into him. Father, we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). May Your will be done in both of their lives, and may Your name be glorified.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from mature believers in your church who can walk alongside you during this time. Surround yourself with a community of faith that will pray for you, hold you accountable, and remind you of God’s promises. Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB), and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. You are deeply loved by Him, and His plans for you are good.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
