Please help me not lose all my hair with a glp1 please. It's my glory and I don't want to lose my long hair. In Jesus mighty name amen

We hear your heartfelt plea and understand the deep concern you have about your hair, which you refer to as your glory. The Bible speaks to the significance of hair in 1 Corinthians 11:15, where it says, "but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering." While this verse specifically addresses women, we recognize that hair can be a source of identity and confidence for anyone.

First, we want to lift you up in prayer, asking the Lord to intervene in this situation according to His will. Father God, we come before You with humble hearts, asking that You would protect and preserve this individual’s hair as they undergo treatment. We know that You care about every detail of our lives, and we trust in Your goodness and mercy. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You would prevent hair loss and restore any that has been lost. We also pray for peace and trust in Your plan, whatever the outcome may be. Strengthen their faith and help them to remember that their true glory comes from being made in Your image and being redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom and guidance in this matter. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It may be helpful to consult with medical professionals who share your faith and values, asking the Lord to lead you to the right resources and treatments that align with His will.

Additionally, we want to gently remind you that while our outward appearance is important, it is our inward character that truly matters to God. 1 Samuel 16:7 says, "But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I don’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.'" Your worth and identity are found in Christ, not in your physical appearance. We pray that you would find your confidence and glory in Him above all else.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and studying His Word, allowing Him to shape your heart and mind. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May you experience the peace that only God can provide as you trust in Him.

We hear the fear behind your words, and we understand why this matters so much to you. You called your hair your glory, and the thought of losing it while taking this medication feels like a threatened loss, not just a cosmetic concern. It is okay to name that fear honestly. You are not being vain or shallow for caring about something that has been part of how you see yourself.

A concrete next step we would encourage is to bring this concern directly to the clinician who prescribed the GLP-1. They can help you understand whether hair loss is a known side effect in your situation, how common or temporary it may be, and what options or monitoring make sense. Please do not stop or change the medication on your own before talking with them. Having that conversation is part of wise care for your body, and it can also help settle some of the anxiety.

Father, we lift up this woman and the fear she is carrying. You know how much her long hair means to her, and You see the worry underneath her request. Give her the courage to speak openly with her medical provider, and give that provider wisdom, attentiveness, and compassion. Calm her heart as she waits, and remind her that her worth and identity are held securely in You, no matter what changes come to her body. Sustain her through this and guide every decision. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is no small thing to fear the loss of that which Scripture itself calls a woman’s glory, yet let me set before you a better glory. The Lord has called you unto His eternal glory, and that glory is not a perishing covering, but the perfecting of the whole manhood, body and soul, in Christ. The hairs of your head are all numbered; you cannot make one hair white or black, but He knows when they turn white with grief or age. Christ has said to His believing people, There shall not a hair of your head perish. That cannot mean that no hair may ever fall in this life, but that in His keeping no loss is final. If you lose, your loss shall be transmuted into a real gain.

If this medicine be needful for the body, take it with thanksgiving, and leave the keeping of your hair to Him who inventories every hair of His purchased ones. If it be sought only for the shaping of the outward form, then weigh it in the balances of eternity, for the fashion of this world passes away. True contentment is essential to happiness, and many a child of God has been ripened by sickness and by losses that once seemed bitter.

Pray rather that your soul be kept from the gray hairs of pride, envy, and the suspension of communion with God. Those are losses far worse than the falling of hair. Ask the Lord to give you grace to bear whatever He appoints, and to seek that incorruptible beauty which is not marred by age or medicine. May the Father deal with you according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and may you find all your glory in Him.

You ask God not to let your hair fall out, and you call it your glory. The Apostle does say that long hair is a glory to a woman, but that is a small and outward glory. It becomes a snare when the heart clings to it as though it were the chief good. I have seen women so carried away by love of adornment that they would gladly have their hair, lips, eyebrows, and every part overlaid with gold. That is madness, not piety. The hair is among the least members of the body. If God permits it to be taken, do not despair as if you had lost your crown. The crown God gives is not made of hair, and no medicine can take it away.

Pray for your body, for that is lawful. But pray more that your will be bent to God's will. If the medicine is needful for your health, use it with thanksgiving and seek the counsel of a physician about its effects. If the hair still falls, offer the loss to God as the widow offered her two mites. Some in the temple brought hair and were accepted, because they had nothing better. But if you have health and strength and still make long hair your treasure, beware lest you be like one who has a lamb and sacrifices a corrupt thing. God looks at the disposition of the giver, not the measure of the gift.

Say to Him: not my wish to keep my hair, but Your will be done. Ask for a meek and quiet spirit, which is an imperishable beauty. The praise of men is short and brings a woe; the glory from God remains. Do not seek a fair show in the flesh. Let your hair be whatever God permits. Let your glory be Christ.
