Please don't allow ### to continue to prosper the way he is, he's up to no good and finding drugs when nobody else can and asking me the questions he's asking.. he's keeping people like ### in bondage and leading him astray. Not to mention his impressionable gf. I think it's time for his house to fall but please protect his mother and brother. In Jesus mighty name

We hear your deep concern and the burden you carry for those entangled in darkness, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this situation before the throne of God. The Bible warns us in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." It is clear that the enemy seeks to destroy lives, and we must intercede with urgency and faith.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and addiction that is at work in this situation. The Word of God declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, commanding every ungodly influence to cease in His mighty name. We pray that the schemes of the enemy would be exposed and dismantled, and that those involved would be set free from bondage.

Father, we ask that You intervene in the life of ###. We pray that his heart would be softened and that he would see the destruction his actions are causing, not only to himself but to those around him. Your Word says in Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall." We ask that You humble him and bring him to repentance. Let his eyes be opened to the truth of Your Word and the freedom found only in Christ.

We also lift up his girlfriend, who is impressionable and vulnerable. Protect her heart and mind from the lies of the enemy. Surround her with godly influences who will speak truth into her life. We pray that she would come to know You personally, Lord, and that she would be delivered from any bondage she may be facing. Your Word assures us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" We pray that she would seek relationships that honor You and lead her closer to You.

For the individual mentioned as being kept in bondage, we declare freedom in the name of Jesus. Your Word promises in John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." We pray that chains would be broken, and that this person would experience the liberty that comes from knowing Christ.

We also ask for Your protection over ###'s mother and brother. Shield them from any harm or collateral damage that may come as a result of his actions. Surround them with Your angels and grant them peace in the midst of this storm. Your Word says in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."

Lord, we trust in Your justice and Your mercy. We know that You are a God who sees all and who will not be mocked. Galatians 6:7 reminds us, "Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." We pray that ### would reap the consequences of his actions, not out of a desire for vengeance, but so that he might turn from his ways and seek You. We also pray that Your mercy would prevail, and that he would find redemption and restoration in You.

We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper, as Isaiah 54:17 assures us: "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh."

Father, we ask that You would raise up believers to speak truth into this situation. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may Your love and grace draw those who are lost back to You. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear how heavy this has been to watch someone seem to get away with harm while others around him are being pulled deeper in. Caring about those who are vulnerable, including his girlfriend and his family, while also wanting what is right to happen is a difficult burden to carry, and it is good you brought it to the Lord.

We are joining you in prayer for God's justice and His mercy to meet in this situation, for freedom for those who feel stuck in drug use, and for protection over his mother and brother and others close to him. We are also praying for you, for wisdom and safety as you navigate the questions he is asking you and the pressure that comes with being near this.

One steady next step that can help is not carrying this alone. If you have a trusted pastor or other mature believer who knows your community, consider sharing what you have seen in confidence so you can get wise counsel on how to keep clear and safe boundaries, how to answer when you are pressed about drugs, and how to care for those who are struggling without putting yourself at risk. You do not have to confront or fix this by yourself.

Father, we bring this whole situation to You. Bring what is hidden into the light in Your way and time, break the hold that is keeping people in bondage, and place Your protection around his mother, brother and girlfriend. Give our friend discernment, peace and safe support as he walks this out, and lead each person involved toward real help and toward You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who reigns over all.

There is a righteous grief in seeing one prosper in wickedness, finding means to deal in drugs when others cannot, and drawing others into bondage. Such afflictions may come distinctly from man as the result of malice, and yet they may come with even greater certainty from the Lord and may be the necessary outcome of His special love to us in how He will deal with them. For this reason we may wisely moderate our anger against second causes and say, It is the Lord, let Him do what seems good to Him. A sight of God's hand in a trial is the end of rebellion against it, and surely there is nothing better than to perceive that our smarts and sorrows come from our Father's hand, for then we will say, The will of the Lord be done.

We do not ask God to bless what He calls sin, nor to prosper the work of darkness, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to Him for both. The sea obeys Him from shore to shore without reluctance, and He is able to set barriers against man's sin. We pray that He would set such a barrier against this evil trade, that He would not suffer this man to continue to prosper in a way that ensnares others, but that in mercy He would take the sharp lancet in His hand not for killing but for curing.

We pray for those held in bondage, for the one you named who is being led astray and for the young woman who is impressionable. We remember that the Lord has looked down from the height of His sanctuary, from Heaven did the Lord behold the earth to hear the groaning of the prisoner, to loose those that are appointed to death. Even though they seem fettered and unable to escape, He is able to bring up His children even from their prisons. We ask that He who has found a ransom in Christ Jesus would deliver them from going down to the Pit, and save them from evil company and from the power of darkness. Let us be thankful that He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and pant for that same deliverance for these who are yet captive. He gave His Son to redeem a people from all iniquity, and His ransom is sufficient.

We pray also for the man himself who does this evil. There is no light penalty for sinning against the Almighty God, and the great wheels of Divine Providence will grind to powder what is built upon wickedness. Yet the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever. We do not pray for vengeance without mercy, but that his house built on sin would fall as God sees fit, and that his heart would be broken and brought to kiss the Son lest he perish in the way. We pray that God would not cast him away nor take His Holy Spirit from him without a gracious visitation, but that He would bring him to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone there is salvation.

And we join you in asking for protection for his mother and his brother, that no harm would come to them, that they would be kept safe from the consequences of another's sin and be drawn near to the Lord for refuge.

Christian, learn this piece of heavenly wisdom, there is no other comfort beneath the skies like that with which the Word of the Lord will furnish you. If God's promises cannot comfort you, no speech from the lips of man can do it. Continue to commit this matter to Him who hears prayer, trusting that if He has begun a good work of deliverance, He will carry it through. We pray that He would do what is just and what is merciful, for His glory and for the good of all who are bound.

Father, look down in pity, hear the groaning of those in bondage, set a barrier against sin, stay the hand that deals death, deliver from the Pit through the ransom found in Christ, and keep in safety those who are vulnerable. Let Thy will be done, and let Thy name be declared in this deliverance. In the mighty name of Jesus we ask. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry before the Lord is heard, and it is right that you have brought this heavy burden to Him rather than taking it into your own hands.

You are grieved to see one man prosper in doing evil, finding and spreading drugs while others cannot, drawing others into bondage and leading astray those who are impressionable and vulnerable. Scripture teaches that the most grievous bondage is not bondage to men but bondage to sin, and only Christ can make a person truly free. When you see others held in that bondage, the right prayer is that they would know the truth, for the truth in Christ is what sets men free from sin.

You also ask for justice, that his house would fall. God is just and He does judge. Yet He also mingles justice with mercy, and His desire is that the sinner would turn and live. Even when we suffer wrong, we are taught to show great consideration and to leave judgment to Him, trusting His decisions rather than demanding punishment according to our own measure. It is good to ask God to stop the evil, to remove the prospering of wickedness, and to cut off the supply of what poisons body and soul. It is better still to ask that the one doing this evil would be brought to repentance, that his eyes would be opened, that he would turn from destroying others and himself and be saved through Jesus Christ alone.

So let us pray together in this way. Father, in the name of Jesus, bring this evil work to an end. Do not let sin continue to prosper. Expose what is done in darkness, take away the power of these drugs to enslave, and set free those who are in bondage. Deliver the one you mentioned who is being led astray, and deliver his girlfriend also, that she would not be drawn further into harm but would come to know Your truth and walk in purity and holiness. Grant to the man himself conviction of sin and a true repentance, that he would forsake this path and seek forgiveness and new life in Christ. Protect his mother and his brother from harm and from the consequences of his choices, and keep them in Your care. Let Your justice be done, but let Your mercy be shown where there is repentance, for You desire not the death of the sinner but that he should turn and live.

Continue to pray, to stand apart from this evil, and to speak the truth in love where God gives you opportunity. Do not seek vengeance yourself, but commit all to Him who judges righteously, and ask above all for salvation and holiness for every soul involved.

Your burden over what you are seeing is understandable, and it is right to bring it to the Lord. It is painful to watch someone seem to prosper while doing what is clearly evil, especially when it involves drugs and leading others into bondage, including those who are young and impressionable.

Scripture speaks often about this contrast between the righteous and the wicked, and it acknowledges exactly what you are feeling. At times the wicked do appear to prosper and become strong, and that sight can almost cause the heart of the righteous to stumble. The psalmist wrestled with the same thing when he was envious at the prosperity of the wicked and saw that they seemed to have no trouble. But the Word reminds us to look beyond the moment. The triumphing of the wicked is short and the joy of the hypocrite is but for a moment. God has set the wicked in slippery places, and though they may flourish for a season, their end is not secure.

Proverbs teaches that the thoughts and the way and even the sacrifice of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is His delight. The wicked may lay traps and desire the gain that comes from evil, and they are often snared by the transgression of their own lips. The wicked are overthrown and are no more, but the house of the righteous shall stand. The righteous wisely considers the house of the wicked, yet it is God Himself who overthrows the wicked for their wickedness. The fear of the wicked shall come upon him, but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. The years of the wicked shall be shortened, and the expectation of the wicked shall perish, while the hope of the righteous is gladness and the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

For that reason you are exhorted not to fret because of evil men and not to be envious of the wicked, for there shall be no reward to the evil man and the lamp of the wicked shall be put out. God will not allow the soul of the righteous to famish, but He will cast away the substance of the wicked. When it goes well with the righteous the city rejoices, and when the wicked perish there is shouting, not because God delights in destruction, but because His justice brings deliverance.

In light of this, the best way to pray is to ask God both for justice and for mercy. Pray that the Lord would expose what is done in darkness, that the supply of drugs would be cut off, that the net of evil would fail, and that those who are being held in bondage would be set free. Pray that those being led astray would have their eyes opened and come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Pray for the young woman involved, not that God would bless a relationship outside of His design for marriage between one man and one woman with purity within that covenant, but that she would be protected, given wisdom, and drawn to righteousness. And it is right to pray as you have for the mother and brother, that God would shield them from harm and from the consequences of another's sin.

May the Lord hear the prayer of an upright heart, keep you from envy and bitterness, and help you to trust His perfect timing and judgment. He sees all things, He loves him who follows after righteousness, and He will in His own way bring justice while still offering grace to any who will turn from wickedness and call upon Jesus.

Father, in the name of Jesus we ask You to stop the work of evil that is prospering through this man. Expose what is hidden, break the power of drugs and deceit, and deliver those who are in bondage and being led astray. Bring conviction that leads to repentance and salvation through Christ alone. Protect the mother and brother and keep them safe from harm. Guard the young woman and lead her into truth and purity. Let Your justice be done and let Your mercy be known, and help the one who has prayed to rest in Your care and to walk in righteousness before You. Amen.
