Heavenly Father

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your request before the throne of grace. The battle against addiction and spiritual oppression is real, but we know that our God is greater than any force of darkness. The name of Jesus is the most powerful weapon we have, and it is through Him alone that we find victory.

First, we must address the foundation of your faith. You invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, and that is the right starting point. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already done so, we encourage you to confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, repent of your sins, and invite Him to take full control of your life. This is the first step toward true deliverance and freedom.

Addiction is often a stronghold that the enemy uses to keep us in bondage, but we serve a God who breaks every chain. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, we are reminded, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." You are not alone in this struggle, and God has already provided a way out. We must stand firm in faith, resisting the devil so that he will flee from us (James 4:7).

We also rebuke the demonic influences in your life in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." These forces have no authority over you if you are in Christ. We command every spirit of addiction, oppression, and bondage to leave you now in Jesus' name. You are a child of God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Now, we pray for your deliverance and baptism in the Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking for Your mighty hand to move in their life. Lord, we ask that You break every chain of addiction and set them free from the grip of the enemy. Baptize them with Your Holy Spirit, filling them with power, wisdom, and discernment to walk in victory. Let Your Spirit guide them into all truth and empower them to live a life that honors You. We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them experience the fullness of Your presence.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and accountability. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, support you, and hold you accountable as you walk this journey. Do not try to fight this battle alone. The body of Christ is here to lift you up and stand with you.

Lastly, we remind you that your identity is in Christ. You are not defined by your struggles or your past. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Walk in the freedom that Christ has already won for you. Renew your mind with the Word of God and let it transform your life (Romans 12:2).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Deliverer and Savior. Amen.

We hear the deep cry in your prayer, and we’re joining you right now in asking for the Lord’s powerful intervention. That raw plea for deliverance and for the Holy Spirit’s fresh filling shows a heart that truly wants to be free, and we believe God honors that.

Freedom from addiction often unfolds as we walk out both spiritual surrender and practical steps. The Holy Spirit does bring sudden deliverance, but He also works through the wise support He places around us. Many of us have found that reaching out to a trusted pastor, a Christian counselor, or a Christ-centered recovery group became the channel through which God’s power flowed into our daily battles. It’s not a sign of weak faith to seek that kind of help, it’s a sign of humble courage. These brothers and sisters can pray with you, help you untangle the roots of the addiction, and stand with you when the struggle feels overwhelming.

As for the baptism of the Holy Spirit you’re asking for, take heart: the Spirit is given to every believer. You can open your hands to Him right now by simply telling Him, “Fill me fresh today, Lord. I yield to Your control.” His filling isn’t a one-time event but a daily, moment-by-moment dependence. And His power is made perfect in our weakness.

We’re praying alongside you now.

Lord Jesus, we bring this precious brother or sister before You. By the authority of Your name, we command every spiritual oppression that fuels this addiction to loosen its grip. Send Your Spirit to bring deep cleansing, inner healing, and a renewed mind. Lead them to the right people, a caring pastor, a skilled Christian counselor, a safe group, who will help them walk into lasting freedom. Baptize them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, filling them with Your peace, self-control, and a tangible sense of Your presence today. You are their deliverer, and we trust You. Amen.

Please deliver me from these demons and this addiction and baptize me with the holy Spirit. In Jesus mighty name amen
Hello friend. I will pray that God blesses you with the strength to overcome your addiction. May God lead you out of the storm of addiction and into the light and tranquility and peace of recovery. I send you love and light. Amen

It is a tender and touching thing that the Holy Spirit should be spoken of as one who may be grieved, yet here you cry out for His baptism, and that very cry, if it is in the Holy Spirit, is already the beginning of your deliverance. That prayer which is not in the Holy Spirit is in the flesh, but you have asked in Jesus’ mighty name, and the Holy Spirit is actually willing to help you to pray, He will tell you how to pray. Do not think your own strength can break these chains. The carnal mind knows nothing of praying in the Holy Spirit’s power, and no man was ever saved by the means of grace apart from the Holy Spirit. You are dealing now with the things of Christ, and that is Holy Spirit ground. Cry mightily unto God, for without the Holy Spirit you utterly fail.

How can any man become holy except by the Spirit of Holiness? A holy man is the workmanship of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Author of all spiritual life, you are dead in trespasses and sins until He visits you. You ask to be delivered from demons and addiction; the little narrow heart of man the Holy Spirit makes His palace, and though it is but a cottage, a very hovel, and all unholy and unclean, yet does the Holy Spirit condescend to make the heart of His people His continual abode. But He is exceedingly grieved by our unbelief. Beware of looking first to your resolutions instead of relying upon the might of God the Holy Spirit alone. The loving grief of the Holy Spirit may be traced to His holy character, there can be no concord between God and Belial. So put away all confidence in the mere strength of nature, and believe that He is able to baptize you now. “Today if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.” The Holy Spirit says, “Today.” He bids you make haste and delay not to keep the commands of God. Why so urgent? Because when the Holy Spirit comes, there is life and force and power.

Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? You can know it. Give a man an electric shock and he will know it; but if he has the Holy Spirit, he will know it much more. The Spirit shall be in you as the source of your life and the force of your life. What cannot a man do when the Holy Spirit is in him? His weakest endeavor will prosper when the Holy Spirit is pouring His life into him. Only see to it that you do not grieve Him by unholiness. The Holy Spirit always keeps sweet company with Jesus Christ, and He glorifies Christ. He will receive of the things of Christ and show them to you. Your plea in Jesus’ name is the very track of the Holy Spirit. He will not leave you if you keep your eyes on Jesus. When the Holy Spirit speaks in the awakened, He points them to the Savior. Therefore, harden not your heart, but yield to His entreaty. The greatest fault of saints is to neglect the Holy Spirit, so adore Him, yield to Him, confide in Him, and pray that you may know Him to the fullest. May the Lord grant that we may not grieve Him, but honor Him in entire dependence, for the whole blessed Godhead, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, must work upon every soul that is to be saved.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
